You can take the Izu Ocean View Train to enjoy the magnificent coastline scenery along the way, and stroll along the picturesque Jogasaki Coast and Kadowaki Suspension Bridge to experience the breathtaking beauty of the sea and cliffs.
[Izu Ocean View Train] The Izu Ocean View Train runs along the coast, with magnificent sea views and beautiful coastal scenery outside the windows, making it an excellent way to experience the Izu coastline. (Train ticket fees are included. As all seats are non-reserved and ocean-side seats are limited, we cannot guarantee 100% that you will get an ocean-side seat.)
[Mount Omuro] (If the Mount Omuro cable car is closed for maintenance, you will visit the Izu Cactus Park during this period) Mount Omuro is a famous volcanic mountain in Izu, a conical extinct volcano known for its magnificent summit views and vast grasslands. You can reach the summit by cable car, and its circular trail offers expansive views, allowing you to overlook the buildings in Ito City and the Pacific Ocean. On clear days, you can also see Mount Fuji and Izu Oshima, among others.
[Izu Cactus Park] (During the Mount Omuro cable car closure, you will visit the Izu Cactus Park) The Izu Cactus Park cultivates about 1,500 species of cacti and succulents from all over the world and houses about 140 species of animals, making it popular with families and nature lovers.
[Jogasaki Coast] The Jogasaki Coast is known for its fine sand beaches and clear waters, making it an ideal place for walking and relaxation, enjoying the sea breeze and tranquil natural beauty.
[Kadowaki Suspension Bridge] The Kadowaki Suspension Bridge spans a cliff, connecting the coast and the forest. Standing on the bridge, you can overlook the magnificent sea views and lush natural landscapes, full of adventure!

Reviews
I've been on many tours to Japanese attractions, and this driver was the most unbelievable. He worked very hard driving, so I'll give him credit for that. However, he didn't provide even the most basic information about the sights, how to take the train, or even mention cutting short any attractions. He barely spoke a few words during the entire 9+ hour trip. I hope that drivers who also serve as guides receive proper training before serving customers.
This trip was definitely worth it! There was plenty of time to explore each attraction, and the ocean views were beautiful and very relaxing. If you're not familiar with Japan's complex transportation system, I highly recommend this tour.
Although the vegetation on Mount Omuro hasn't fully turned green yet, the view from the top after taking the cable car is still expansive and the scenery is very charming. The tour guide's service was also thoughtful and attentive, making for a great overall experience.
The itinerary was excellent, but the seating on the tour bus was a bit cramped, which wasn't ideal for a three-hour journey.
