PLAYT's open kitchen concept, known as "Kitchen Theatre," showcases chefs' culinary skills, presenting delicious food spectacularly to the audience. The open kitchen serves international delights ranging from oyster and lobster. Turkish pizza and Indian tandoori will be freshly made from an authentic stone oven. In addition, a wide selection of dim sum, sushi, and a host of Pan Asian favorites will spoil one for choice while PLAYT’s signature dessert, our home-made gelato, with unique flavors such as Moutai and Mango Sago Pamelo, will be a perfect way to cap a sumptuous meal.

Celebrating Hong Kong Flavors with a Fusion of East and West!

Every dish and pastry tells a story of Hong Kong. Rooted in the city for over half a century, Burlington Hotel has witnessed Hongkongers’ passion for authentic local flavors. This Lunar New Year, the hotel collaborates with century-old Hong Kong classic—Hang Heung Bakery—to present its iconic tastes in a fresh way through PLAYT’s buffet offerings, turning the festive dining table into a meeting point of tradition and innovation.

This collaboration is not just a feast for the palate but also a tribute to Hong Kong’s culinary heritage, as two locally grounded, community-rooted brands join forces to craft a cultural experience. Executive Chef Chan Kin Chung and Pastry Chef Lau Kwong Hung incorporate Hang Heung’s premium preserved meats and traditional pastries into inventive dishes, with selected highlights including Thai-Spiced Hang Heung Sausage Vegetable Salad, Buffalo Cheese Pizza with Hang Heung Oil Duck and Arugula, Spicy Hang Heung Sausage Spaghetti with Olives and Tomato Sauce, Hang Heung Preserved Meat & Celery Squid Cake (Lunch), Hang Heung Preserved Meat Lychee Pastry Crispy Duck (Lunch), Hang Heung Oil Duck with Kirin Grouper (Dinner), Hang Heung Preserved Meat Eight-Treasure Duck (Dinner), and Hang Heung Preserved Meat Chaozhou Fried Roll (Dinner).

The dessert section showcases creativity and emotion, inspired by Hang Heung’s traditional pastries. Fusion creations include Wife Cake Italian Gelato, Mini Walnut Pastry with Hazelnut Chocolate, Mini Egg Roll with Passionfruit Jam, and Bite-Sized Chicken Biscuits—celebrating collective memories through classic flavors.

Seasonal favorites are also available, such as snow crab legs and sushi/sashimi for lunch, and freshly shucked oysters and nourishing soups for dinner.

A special mini Lunar New Year Wishing Tree is set up at PLAYT’s entrance, where guests can write blessings and hopes on custom cards and hang them on the tree, symbolizing a year of success and good fortune.

Offering all-day dining and buffet options, PLAYT serves a variety of appetizers, main dishes (Roast sirloin steak, roast lamb spleen, steamed whole abalone in lotus leaf with seasonal seafood), seafood (snow crab leg), sushi, seasonal specialties, Thai Live Station, Indian cuisine, ultimate two free flowing juice or special drink, homemade desserts and homemade gelato!

【Lobster, Seafood, and Unlimited Sparkling Wine Weekend Brunch】

The Seafood buffet not only offers Boston Lobsters, Snow Crab Legs and Sashimi, but now also includes Spanish 24 months air-dried Iberian ham with honeydew melon. Additionally, there is a delightful selection of Chinese and Western hot dishes as slow cooked Sirloin Steak, Dim Sum and Seafood Platters.
