If you work in Wan Chai, you must try this 1-hour express executive buffet. The price is HKD 251 per person, including the 10% service charge! At exactly 12 PM, you can start getting food. The first thing I did was grab some king crab legs. In one hour, I ate 10 king crab legs, and they were delicious! Other cold seafood dishes were also good. Afterward, I went to get sashimi, and there was a long line; the chef was a bit slow slicing the sashimi. I only got one plate and then moved on to other food because there was so much to choose from. There were also many dim sum options, a wide variety of desserts, and the ice cream was very tasty. It turns out drinks are also included. I ate two pieces of roasted lamb, which were also delicious. One hour really isn't enough, but for around HKD 200, it's an excellent value!
It was such a fun experience. The food was good quality and variety. The view amazing. The service was top notch. Very rare to find such genuine waiters and waitresses in HK. Lunch buffet was a great deal.
We book early we able to get a window set, it was amazing view and comfortable..The food was great. It was fun experience eating lunch buffet with my friends here..The service is excellent. They are polite. It's rare to find such attentiveness these days, except in a very expensive restaurants.
This is not the first time I having Buffet at 62/fl. I really enjoyed the environment and Delicious food I will continue to enjoy the buffet in The Grand Buffet
We booked too late and weren't able to get a window seat (the staff mentioned that window seats usually require booking one to two months in advance). The Chinese dim sum (soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, siu mai) and suckling pig were excellent. The caramelized durian crème brûlée is a must-try. The chilled seafood was standard, and the bread crab was average. Overall, the food quality was good.
The environmental service is excellent! They clear the plates quickly! The staff noticed that we forgot to take dessert spoons! They brought them to us without us even asking! It's rare to find such attentiveness these days, except in very expensive restaurants! For Christmas, around $1200 is acceptable! Although we were seated at three separate tables for two people each, we were arranged to sit by the window, which was comfortable! There was a wide variety of food to choose from! The most important thing on Christmas, a day of universal celebration, is not to get annoyed! I saw many foreigners eating there! The staff served the food very politely! No rushing or scrambling! That's already a perfect score! My favorite dish was the Baked Alaska, with mango ice cream and some brandy! And also the suckling pig! The skin was very crispy! We were there from 5:45 PM to 8:00 PM, which gave us enough time to eat and relax! Overall, it's a very good choice for a holiday!
The executive lunch price for the buffet is a great deal. Of course, the main draw is the view. The food is fresh, and while there aren't a huge variety of seafood options, the basics are covered. However, there's a good selection of desserts, and the bacalhau egg waffles were a delightful surprise and very tasty. Plates were cleared quickly. It's a very cost-effective experience! ^^
This time, we celebrated a birthday and dined at The Grand Buffet revolving restaurant. However, the baked lobster wasn't very fresh, though the foie gras was delicious. The Baked Alaska was a pleasant surprise, and the mango ice cream tasted great. The staff were efficient at clearing plates and very polite. Unfortunately, The Grand Buffet differs from other hotel buffets; even after calling ahead to inform them it was a birthday, they didn't offer a complimentary candle or small cake for the celebration. We had to pay an additional $80 for that. So, after the buffet, it still felt like the birthday atmosphere was a little lacking.
Overall: You can choose your dining time (1 or 2 hours), which offers great flexibility and makes it more cost-effective, convenient for working professionals. Food-wise: There's a wide selection of chilled seafood and desserts, as well as roast beef, lamb chops, dim sum, and sashimi. Overall, I'm very satisfied! 👍👍
Restaurant Environment: Beautiful view, spacious, comfortable seating. Service: Excellent. Experience: Great service and food quality; I will be a frequent diner. Food Taste: Good value for money. Price: Excellent value.
