Price: It's half price if you book here, cheaper than all-you-can-eat buffets and hot pot, super worth it! Service, experience, and restaurant environment: If you're lucky, you might snag a sea view. The service quality is genuinely good, and the waiters go the extra mile. Food taste: The salad bar and cheese bread are basic. There are quite a few types of oysters, crab legs, and sashimi, about 7 kinds, and they are all fresh and clean. For cooked food: the Peking duck is so-so, but the salt and pepper abalone and grilled mushrooms are delicious. On the day, they had freshly sliced beef ribs, lamb ribs, and Wellington salmon. It's worth mentioning that unlimited beer is a really pleasant surprise! Hotel desserts are never bad, and you must get the freshly baked lava cake. Finally, if possible, when you get your table on the day, remember to tell the staff it's your birthday, and they'll give you a cake. It takes more than half an hour to make.
it was our first time try the buffet in this hotel and the food was excellent, the oysters were very fresh! seafood and sashimi were fresh too we paid like $40 usd per person, for this price🤣 I can’t ask for more 🥹
We had a great birthday lunch here. Came for the seafood - they did not disappoint. Endless freshly shucked oysters, sashimi, chilled seafood. Enjoyed the tempura, tandoor, meat carvings as well. The highlight for us was the extensive dessert spread, which includes soy pudding, choc fondant, bread butter pudding, yummy fresh thick waffles and >10 flavours of Movenpick ice cream to top them with. You can make an advance request for complimentary birthday cake for celebrations but we didn't. Restaurant was full due to Mother's Day weekend but we had a nice corner table with harbour view through the blinds. They ran out of bottled water, so we only received iced water cups for our table but there was plenty fresh juice, soft drinks and coffee otherwise. Great value, will return.
It has been more than a year since I visited this Hong Kong Harbor Grand Hotel for a buffet lunch. After a long absence, I visited again at noon yesterday and found that the changes have been great! First of all, in addition to the original oysters, long-legged crab legs, the buffet lunch has a variety of In addition to sashimi, there are also fresh and delicious abalone and sliced duck. The quality of ribeye steak is also very good. There are 12 types of high-end Swiss brand ice cream for diners to choose from! It is worth mentioning that the buffet restaurant has a comfortable environment and staff The warm and courteous service and attentive service make diners feel at home! Enjoy a rich buffet lunch at a preferential price of more than 300 Hong Kong dollars per person, which is very cost-effective and highly recommended!
I saw this buffet on Klook and it had many good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It's very fast to get out of Fortress Hill Metro Station. The place is very spacious, you can see the sea view, and it has a full sense of space. There are many choices for food, including crab legs, emerald snails, frozen shrimps, raw fish, freshly opened oysters, the oysters are very thin, very fresh and sweet, and not fishy at all... There are sliced duck on the hot plate, skewers, and roasts There is also abalone, which is very delicious. There are also many dessert choices, the taste is good, and the chocolate is too soft. The most surprising thing is that there are 12 types of Movenpick ice cream. And there are not more than 10 people at noon, so there is no need to queue up for food. I also get a small cake for my birthday.
it is worth the price..food are amazing and service was great as well..staff are very much accommodating despite the language barrier. we will surely comeback!
There are oysters, abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, lobster, long-legged crab, duck liver, sliced duck, scallops, and red shrimp. There are 16 types of M-shaped ice cream, and you can drink all the juice, tea, and coffee in Qingdao. The heart is too soft, the caramel stewed egg, and the cheese cake are all delicious. The mango Napoleon is also good. The service is good, and the dishes are put away very quickly. The price of $600 is so good. There’s nothing you can fault about the plain restaurant. It’s the best value for money buffet in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, the occupancy rate is around 20% on Sunday night. It’s really miserable...
Many food varieties but the quality is not that good. Especially teh pawn shasimi and cold lobster which will only be available upon request. However, the pancake is good. Drinks and ice-cream also have a lot of varieties. But the taste of the desserts is not that good. There were two shows on weekdays which are nice but the second one's taste is weird, not worth to try especially if you are alcholic allergy.
The dinner was quite good, with a delightful variety of flavors that made the meal truly enjoyable. The environment was equally impressive, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience. The warm lighting and thoughtful decor created a perfect setting for a relaxed and memorable evening.
The fresh seafood platter, the tender roast beef and lamb as well as the free flow of draught beer already made it worth more than the promotion price of the semi- lunch buffet. The salad bar was also good with a variety of ingredients. Though the mediocre desserts might have been disappointing particularly for those who have a sweet tooth, it was still great value for money overall.
