What To Expect

Taipei truly comes alive at night. With bustling street markets, nighttime shopping and a lively bar scene, you won't be short of sights to see after dark. Your tour begins as it only should when in Taipei, with a delicious meal at the famous Ding Tai Fung before heading on to the cultural stops. Roam through Huaxi Street Night Market where people flock for Taiwanese noodles, snake soups, squid stews and iced desserts, enter amongst the gentle glow of temple lanterns at tranquil Lungshan, then gaze upon the city lights of buzzing Xinyi District beneath 509-meter high Taipei 101.

Best part of the night was dinner at Din Tai Fung. I don’t really recommend going to the observatory since there isn’t anything special. Raohe Night Market was a bore. Lol. Jenny, our tour guide, she was awesome too.

Didn’t make it due to very poor communication from the local tour travel agency

overall a great tour, the night market has many choice of local street foods (hope can have more time there to test more local food), the temple is amazing. After the 101 Tower, I decided to spend more time to walk around the night live areas around that area.

I had trouble understanding Peterson's English and preferred to speak Mandarin with him instead. There was two other Filiinos on the tour with us so he spoke in halting English. For the price of this tour, we expected a better vehicle than the one that was used. The seats had an odour of sweat. It is way better to take an Uber to Huaxi night market n walk around on your own and go to Taipei 101 on your own. We didnt even go up to Starbucks which could have afforded a nive view without paying for the observatory. Peterson actually brought us around the basement foodcourt and Jasons Marketplace after the meal at Din Tai Feng! You cannot choose what to eat at DTF which again, sucks.
