Taipei Raohe Night Market Food Walking Tour

Our guide May Ei was fantastic. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable despite visiting the market on a very busy weekend. she was knowledgeable, passionate and caring. we tried so many delicious dishes and May Ei helped us find things we would not have know to try. she also showed us around the temple which was a truly fascinating experience- she was so knowledgeable and passionate about sharing her culture and history. we would recommend her tour to anyone. thank you May Ei.

Our tour guide was very friendly and took the time to answer our questions. Given the busy nature of the market and bringing through a small group, it’s impossible for a guide to stop with everyone to make purchases. I did appreciate explanations of certain foods and the history of the market. However, with most vendors having English menus or really good signage, you can certainly do this market on your own. Maybe watch a couple of YouTube videos in advance to get yourself familiarized with the market.

Had such a great time touring with Richard! He’s an amazing host — informative, accommodating, and always making sure we were okay, even looking after us throughout the night. I learned so much about Taiwan, and it was such a fun experience exploring with him as our tour guide!

The Raohe Night Market is chaotic and overwhelming. Our guide Bessie helped us navigate through and provided a wealth of information. She showed us many things we would have missed on our own and explained how the different food items were prepared and with what ingredients. We truly enjoyed ourselves!

Evelyn was our "personal" guide for the Rahoe Night Market. She led us through the market as it were her home kitchen. She answered question after question without hesitation. She helped my wife with her personal needs like she were her own mother. We would definitely consider doing this tour again but would demand that Klook assign Evelyn as our guide.

Vicky was absolutely wonderful. She took me to such interesting local stalls and encouraged me to try amazing food I might not have discovered on my own. I really appreciated how she explained how each dish was made and shared the history behind it, which made the experience so meaningful.
