Formerly the world's tallest structure, a visit to Taipei 101 is quite simply a must see attraction for anyone visiting the Taiwanese capital. On a clear day you can take in some of the best views in Asia and see all the way down to the Taiwan straits, as well as clear views of the mountainous spine of this beautiful island. What's more, you can get to the top in one of the world's fastest elevators arriving at the top in a mere 37 seconds! An incredible feat of engineering, this megastructure is stabilised by an enormous 730 ton damper - an equally impressive sight on the 87th floor.

Quick transaction at the ticket counter with my klook e-ticket, highly recommended to book ahead of time to spare your time in queueing. Though our visit was rainy, ticket agent asked whether we like to see the attraction on another date to see a better view, hence we had limited stay in Taipei, we pursued with our activity. It could have been a better day for my family had the weather is better. Nonetheless, its a must see spot when you visit Taipei...
Went during a foggy and rainy day. Really couldn't see much other than the wind damper (indoor)
quick access, it was the fastest elevator ride i have had! too bad weather was a bit gloomy but the view was still spectacular.
've read many reviews saying this was not worth the amount of money (ie. it is very expensive, but only in comparison to other things in Taiwan) but I for sure felt it was worthwhile. Visited on a Sunday lunchtime hoping to buy a ticket in advance for the following day, but arrived to find it almost empty and with an "excellent" viability rating I would have been silly to not go there and then. Great views of the city and interesting to learn about the damper (the thing that steadies the tower during earthquakes and typhoons). Outdoor observation deck not the best but the windows indoors are great.
