great experience. we fed the walabis and kangaroos and get close to birds. highly recommended. staff is also very friendly.
I booked my admission 2 days in advance, and the entry was smooth. Also, the price was more reasonable than the official price. There were many free-range animals on a very large site, and they were all used to people, so I was able to interact with them up close. There were many rare animals, so I had a very satisfying experience. It's far from Cairns city, so I recommend renting a car to get there. The scenery along the way is beautiful.
This place is really well designed with lots of shade and cover for the animals so it's a really enjoyable experience even if it is hot. The animals are very cute, the large bird enclosure was great you can get close even have some on your shoulder whilst enjoying the reasonably price cafe and holding a kangaroo's paw and giving them a scratch was a highlight too.
The zoo was small, but it was full of things and fun. I especially liked being able to see kangaroos and wallabies up close and interact with them. The cute parrots approached me without being afraid of people, which was healing.
Very nice habitat. Lots of beautiful birds. Can feed kangaroos. Great family entertaiment.
purchased the wildlife habitat private tour. best tour ever. price included 2 hours with private keeper behind the scene to the wildlife refuge area and held and fed wallaby, kangaroo...Also had private time for free photo with koala. even included lunch. this was the closest encounter to wildlife during our 2 weeks trip to Australia. best money spent and was cheaper than purchase onsite.
The animals are super cute. Tickets are super cheap here. Don’t worry about losing your tickets unless you lose your phone. It is more cost-effective with credit cards and discount coupons.
Nice experience especially for kids as most animals n birds are free roaming. One gets to feed wallabies. Park is a little run down though.
