What to expect
Skip the crowds of Asakusa and enjoy an exclusive experience in a quiet residential neighborhood in Suginami, Tokyo. Our entire café is reserved just for your group, even if you're traveling solo
Your host, Souka, has practiced the Omotesenke tea ceremony for over 30 years and holds the rank of Associate Professor. A 1st Grade Kimono Consultant with 25 years of experience will dress you in your chosen kimono, complete with a simple hair arrangement and hair ornaments
Enjoy a private, chair-style tea ceremony (no floor sitting), featuring matcha prepared using a kettle crafted by a Living National Treasure. Then stroll with your hosts to Omiya Hachimangu Shrine (founded in 1063) for photos among its bamboo grove and vermilion torii gates. All photos will be sent to you afterwards
