Tokyo: Sumo Live Show with Photo in Shinjuku

One of the best experiences you can have in Tokyo! Informative, fun and incredible. JUMP AT THE CHANCE TO CHALLENGE THE SUMO WRESTLERS!!! It’s the absolute best!!! Dai, the host, made the evening even better :).

I booked this on a whim before I arrived in Tokyo and I’m so glad I did! it was not only incredibly educational and enriching, but so much fun. It was truly fascinating to learn about how these absolute forces of nature live and train, and to get to see them in action. It was even funnier getting to watch people try and take them on! If you’re in Tokyo, I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience!

the experience was fun and exciting, they offer drinks and snacks that you can pay for but they do provide water for free. The host does speak fluent English and is very informative on sumo and the wrestlers are good showsman

It was a wonderful experience to learn about Sumo's life. The overall experience and interaction with Sumo was very nice. I was lucky enough to fight with the wrestlers and take a photograph with them.

We had the most amazing time! Very entertaining & we learnt a lot as well. Would highly recommend! The kids will be talking about this for a while! Thank you ☺️

fantastic show with the crew and especially Dai who was the host for the evening. the Sumo wrestlers Hiro and Kijo were also a lot of fun to watch and shared a lot of information on the world of Sumo.

For those who don't know about sumo and are interested in learning, this is an excellent opportunity. I really enjoyed Dai's explanation and narration of the sport, as well as the professionalism of the wrestlers who were willing to give demonstrations, wrestle, and answer questions.

Had a great time at the Sumo Club Shinjuku with Dai. It is great if you have kids! What we loved was that the show included alot of about Sumo with demonstrations given, but what we enjoyed most was the sense of humour - dont take anything too seriously. My son got to do the wrestling and it was a highlight!

I felt a bit unsure when I saw that all the staff were internationals but in the end, I found the experience very informational. I really respected how even though the host, Shane, could have probably answered some of the questions that were asked, he still posed the question to the athletes and translated their responses. Overall, a great time for individuals or families.
