What to expect
Feel the ground shake as sumo wrestlers collide in a shower of salt and sweat. Join an authentic Morning Practice (asageiko) at a sumo stable in Japan, rarely open to outsiders.
Watch wrestlers with your English-speaking guide: stretching, footwork drills, and intense butsukari-geiko sparring, while learning to read the room's rituals.
Your guide explains etiquette before entering; inside, stay quiet and respectful, following your guide's lead. Some visits may include sumo culture or meeting wrestlers after.
