2026 Omagari Fireworks Festival Autumn Chapter - Fireworks Art Festival - Encounter the Brilliant Autumn Night Fireworks Date: October 3, 2026 (Saturday), expected to start at 18:00 Location: “Omagari no Hanabi” Park in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture (along the Omono River) Number of fireworks: Approximately 8,000 fireworks.
Every autumn, come to Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, Japan’s famous “hometown of fireworks,” to enjoy the annual “Omagari Fireworks - Autumn Chapter - Fireworks Art Festival.” This is the birthplace of “creative fireworks” in Japan, where pyrotechnicians use the autumn night as their stage, breaking through traditional shapes and expressions, and presenting a visual art feast with brilliant colors, unique shapes, and creative fireworks. Unlike the “National Fireworks Competition” in summer, which focuses on competition among pyrotechnicians nationwide, the Autumn Chapter places more emphasis on the artistry, creativity, and visual appeal of fireworks. This is also one of the birthplaces of “creative fireworks” in Japan, where local pyrotechnicians create experimental and avant-garde works around each year’s theme, using different expressions such as color, light, shape, and trajectory. The 2026 performance will mainly consist of opening fireworks, creative fireworks produced by young pyrotechnicians, artistic fireworks, and grand finale fireworks. The grand finale will culminate with 100 consecutive 10-inch shells, bringing the entire fireworks display to a close. In addition, drone performances are also planned for this year. In Omagari in autumn, the night air is clear and cool. Watching approximately 8,000 fireworks in the open space along the river can better highlight the color and layering of the fireworks themselves. The official description also refers to it as an “outdoor theater” for enjoying fireworks art on an autumn night.

In such cases, our company will proactively contact the registered representative. Please understand that if the local final decision is announced only on the day of the event, the cancellation notice may be issued on the morning of the departure day. Considering the large crowd at the venue on the day of the event, and to ensure a smooth itinerary, this tour has allocated ample time. Therefore, there may be a waiting period after arriving at the fireworks venue. It takes approximately 25-30 minutes to walk from the meeting point to the fireworks viewing seats. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. This tour arranges for viewing the fireworks from group chair seats (designated viewing seats). Seating will be uniformly arranged by the organizer, and specific seat requests cannot be accommodated. After the fireworks festival, surrounding roads are expected to be very congested. Please make your own way back after dismissal. Smoking is prohibited in the viewing area, and items such as chairs, tables, and tripods are not allowed.
