What to expect
Through experiences such as watching sumo matches, observing training sessions, and observing hair-styling demonstrations, you can get up close and personal with sumo wrestlers and experience the culture and worldview of sumo. In addition to sumo, we will also guide you to other Japanese cultural and historical sites. You can observe the morning practice of sumo wrestlers participating in the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament. Watching practice with the tension of a real tournament is a valuable experience. After practice, you can also watch a demonstration of hair styling, where a hairdresser styles the wrestlers’ topknots.
