Other Reminders
- The water at Myoban Onsen is highly acidic and sulfur-rich (milky white). It is celebrated for its health benefits, but it can tarnish jewelry. Please remove all silver, gold, and metal accessories before entering the bath. If you have extremely sensitive skin, please consult your doctor beforehand.
- The included "Jigoku Purin" (pudding) contains eggs and dairy. If you have food allergies or strict dietary restrictions (such as vegan or gluten-free), please inform us upon booking.
- While the pudding and one boiled egg are included, the main lunch at Okamoto-ya is a "free-choice meal" at your own expense. Cash is highly recommended at this shop.
- This tour utilizes Beppu's local public bus system to experience the city like a resident. It involves a moderate amount of walking, including some uphill slopes and stairs in the historic Myoban district. Comfortable walking shoes are required.
- You will receive a detailed map of the meeting point at Beppu Station prior to the tour date. Please check your messages/email regularly.
- Please ensure you have access to the internet on the day of the tour. We will provide a WhatsApp contact number for any last-minute communication or if you have trouble finding the guide.
- Please bring your own bath towel and face towel for the hot spring experience. Towels can also be purchased at the shop.
