Fantastic 5.0
It was spectacular from beginning to end, a truly authentic acrobatic show. Every performance was astonishing, and the performers' stunts were incredibly impressive. You absolutely cannot miss this show at Chaoyang Theater when you visit Beijing.

Fantastic 5.0
Wonderful, but the time provided by Klook did not match the ticket time, and we missed 15 minutes of the show.
Guide
- [Chinese Aesthetic] A giant ink wash painting scroll slowly unfolds on the stage, with traditional imagery such as pavilions, towers, plum blossoms, orchids, bamboo, and chrysanthemums layered and blended, presenting you with a flowing oriental masterpiece.
- [Intangible Cultural Heritage Revitalization] Elements of intangible cultural heritage such as Peking Opera facial makeup, martial arts moves, and Dunhuang dance postures are integrated into acrobatic techniques, allowing the millennium-old national essence to radiate new vitality on the contemporary stage.
- [Thrilling and Extraordinary] The high-speed rotating "ground hoop" and the stacked "chair top" showcase acrobats challenging physical limits with superb skills, bringing you a breathtaking and shocking experience.
- [Poetic and Ethereal] On the stage, aerial silk performers dance like flying ribbons in the air, and contortionists bloom gracefully like ink wash blue and white porcelain, showing you the unique freehand beauty of oriental charm.
- [Splendid Costumes] Over a hundred sets of custom opera costumes make a grand appearance, from Qin and Han deep robes to Ming and Qing cloud brocades, with costumes like paintings and hairpins like poems, displaying the splendid elegance of Chinese attire.
This is a large-scale Chinese aesthetic audio-visual acrobatic performance
- “Guofeng Yun Ya” Opening Show Integrating Sichuan regional culture and light shows, a collective performance by five women showcases techniques such as body folding, back arching to hold flowers, unsupported backbends, multi-layered pyramid formations, and drilling through narrow frames; balance error control is minimal, and collective formations require millisecond-level synchronization from all members.
- “Dragon Horse Gathering Wind” Ground Hoop Primarily a collective performance, combining explosive power and precise control. Multiple layers of 1-meter diameter ground hoops are stacked, with male performers completing high-difficulty combinations such as high-speed run-throughs, 360° aerial spins, multiple people crossing through hoops, handstand through hoops, and continuous multiple hoop jumps; the hoops are not touched throughout the performance.
- “The Brave” High Chair A solo high-altitude performance, combining thrilling spectacle with symbolic spirit. Wooden chairs are stacked by hand to 8.5–10 meters (approximately 3 stories high), and high-difficulty moves such as one-hand handstands, headstands, 180° waist bends, and one-hand brick breaking are performed on a single chair at the top.
- “Moonlight on the Lotus Pond” Plate Spinning Primarily a collective performance by women, combining graceful lyricism and precise control. Each person holds a 1-meter thin bamboo pole in each hand, balancing a plate (approximately 20cm diameter porcelain plate) on top, completing high-difficulty combinations such as simultaneously spinning 5–8 plates with both hands, 360° rotating plate catching, backbend plate spinning, headstand plate spinning, and shoulder-supported multi-layered plate spinning.
- “Shining Brightly” Bowl Stacking A trio of female performers, breaking the traditional mixed-gender performance model, with an all-female lineup completing a full set of high-difficulty techniques, continuously performing advanced combinations such as horizontal handstand stacking on a partner, one-hand stacking on the head, dry-water one-hand stacking, double back roll stacking, head-clasping neck stacking, single-foot rotating bowl stacking, and high-altitude throwing and catching bowls.
- “Harvest” Straw Hat Incorporating the imagery of Bashu countryside and golden waves of rice, male performers need to cooperate to complete high-difficulty combinations such as large back hat, three-section inverted hat catching, wall-supported hat catching, head-spinning throwing and catching, single-hand multi-hat rotation, aerial cross-flying hats, 360° rotating hat catching, and kneeling/mid-air hat catching.
- “Cloud Garment” Shoulder Ballet Men serve as a stable “live stage” (base) with their shoulders, palms, and heads, while women in ballet pointe shoes perform dances on a very small weight-bearing surface (pointe); single pointe 180°/360° turns on the shoulder, single pointe arabesques on the head, aerial lifts to pointe poses, and single-foot swallow kicks, etc., with smooth and stable movements and strong visual tension.
- “Graceful Shadows Flying” Bicycle Stunts A collective of women uses 28-inch traditional weighted bicycles as core props, without auxiliary balance devices. A single person rides a single bicycle carrying 5 people, completing a four-layer human tower (1 person riding at the bottom, 4 people sitting on shoulders, head, and hands on the upper layers), with the bicycle remaining stable and without shaking throughout, and formations such as matrices, circles, and waves switching instantly; front riders throw and catch props, and back riders precisely receive them, forming a dynamic visual flow.
- “Thrilling Stunts” Motorcycle Stunts A team of 5 to 6 elite extreme motorcyclists; performing a full set of high-difficulty stunts inside a 6-meter diameter spherical iron cage, without auxiliary balance devices. Motorcycles travel at 60km/h, completing high-difficulty moves such as 360° rotations, 90° flights, cross-traversals, and parallel riding along the cage wall; the minimum distance between two motorcycles is less than half a meter, with zero-collision transitions.
