A Winter Fairytale Experience: Penguin Walk When the snow accumulates, Asahiyama Zoo holds the “Penguin Parade” in winter, allowing visitors to admire the natural姿態 of penguins up close. As the start of snowfall varies each year, the specific timing of the penguin walk may change, and depending on the penguins’ physical condition, it may not be possible to see it during every visit. In previous years, the event has been held from late December to mid-March, only during the snowy season.

Our tour guide Vivien was very friendly and approachable, despite the weather she did her best to accommodate everyone. Going to the zoo was very convenient with this tour and the enclosures allow you to get a closer look.
Vivian, our tour guide was really bubbly and friendly. She made sure that our group will be able to watch the whole penguin parade on time with a good view (which fortunately we did, we had and we enjoyed it). Bibai activities were the highlight of this day trip. Recommended 👍🏻
