Hokkaido Must-Visit: Asahiyama Zoo, Biei, Furano Day Trip (Limited-Time Hokuryu Town Sunflower)

Masa was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the day. He explained each destination clearly, shared interesting local insights, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the tour. His timing was excellent, allowing us to explore each place without feeling rushed.

The tour was very entertaining and well-paced with adequate time in each stop to enjoy the experience. Our tour guide, Allen was also very kind and accommodating and made the experience very enjoyable and stress-free for the whole family.

The zoo was crowded especially with a lot of people watching the penguin walk. We were only able to peep a bit. Since we were under time pressure, we weren’t able to go around the entire zoo. The snow park offered snow mobile but was quite expensive so we only played in the snow. Sledding at 200 yen but snow mobile 16,000 yen i think. The ningle terrace was nice though . We took some pictures. Wished we could have stayed a little longer to see the lights that makes it fairy-land like.

I highly recommend it. The service is good. The staff is very attentive. The attractions are worth it. It's better than traveling by yourself. The driver is very polite. The car is new and clean. Pick up and drop off on time. I recommend waiting at the meeting point 20 minutes in advance.

A small trip for six people. I was very happy to buy one and get one free. I thought it would never happen! A few days before departure, we were told that someone else had signed up. It was a seven-seater car and we would not be crowded together. The Chinese-speaking tour guide was very dedicated and the car drove very well. She also gave brief introductions along the way and the time was just right. , it’s a pity that skiers didn’t go there because it was late and it would be closed (for the four seasons or something), but you could visit the Penguin Walk, the Christmas Tree and the Elf Terrace! You have to prepare something to eat because time is really short!

It’s was fun trip! My kids have fun! We got an icecream lavender from the tour guide! Not only us, but the whole person in the bus! Well done! Such an amazing trip with you guys!!

The National Highway was closed due to heavy snow. It was already 14:30 when we arrived at Asahiyama Zoo (it closes at 15:30). There was only one hour left to visit the zoo. We were told that we would not be able to see the trees because of the heavy snow. However, the driver realized that it was still early and took us to see the trees. Finally, we happened to meet each other when we arrived at the Fairy Terrace. The snow is very dreamy and worth it. Because the registration time is late, participants should think about whether they want to participate during the snow season (Asahiyama Zoo may not be able to visit)

Our tour was affected by the heavy snowfalll from the past days which caused road closures and major traffic jam. We were able to arrive to Asahiyama Zoo only just in time for the 2:30pm penguin walk show. Even if a bit rushed to destinations, this tour is well worth it as the distance to these spots from Sapporo center is barely doable for DIY. I would also like to commend our tour guide that can speak 4 languages! She made the trip much better and assured us all the way.

kinda rush with to explore the zoo as the time given include our own lunch . disappointed can’t see penguins parade as tour guide said no parade but I see other ppl managed to post w penguins parade at same zoo.overall guess my son enjoyed it

The guide, Yuka(?), was very friendly. I was the only Korean, but they explained it separately in English. I wanted to go to the zoo with my child, and it was a good route because I could see nature along with it.
