Very nice tea ceremony experience with beautiful traditional kimonos and a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere! 😊 We learned about the tea culture and making, we tried different matcha teas and we could also try to make our own matcha tea. We enjoyed learning the respectful culture around a traditional tea ceremony. Her ability to teach us in Japanese and English was great for our group. We even got to experience whisking matcha ourselves. Highly recommend.

we loved the ceremonial piece of this tea ceremony. It was beautiful to just get a peek behind the curtain of true Japanese culture. The instructor is fantastic. We did a private tour which I would recommend, with kimonos.

A peaceful, meditative introduction to the art of the Japanese tea ceremony. In addition to the tasting, there was also a brief instruction for hands-on practice, and all questions were answered.

The tea master was really knowledgeable. The experience was engaging and fun, while learning about history and etiquette of the tea ceremony.

This was an interesting experience, loved dressing up and being taken through the whole tea ceremony experience. Thoroughly enjoyed it, although my son was not a big fan of the taste. The location was easy to find and get to, close to other sightseeing opportunities, the instructor was very good, and gave us a real insight to the whole tea ceremony.

We had a lovely experience . Our guide took the tea ceremony very seriously, which added to the experience. My hubby and I dressed up and looked amazing in our kimono’s.

Nice experience near Kinkakuji temple. The English of the teacher was excellent. Our only complaint is that the sweets weren't very nice but perhaps that is typical of those type of sweets.
