What to expect

Fukuoka's Hakata area, known as a famous spot for ramen, especially all the food stalls that serve it, is home to the Hakata Old Town, a district lined with traditional crafts, performing arts, festival culture, and historic temples and shrines.

Hakata Geidokoro Wanoka provides a platform for those involved in Hakata's traditional culture and performing arts to make a living. They offer a variety of experiences, from geisha performances to tea ceremonies, allowing even first-time visitors to engage with traditional Japanese culture.

Rest assured, there is also an interpreter guide available on-site.
