Reviews summarybit of traffic delays due to high busy period but was so amazing loved every bit apart that i did not know you do both in one time like nara and the temple are both to be done by yourself in those times but it was such an amazing deal price wise and experience wise
I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring some of the most iconic and culturally rich destinations in Kyoto and Nara. Our journey began at Nara Park, where I had the rare and memorable opportunity to get up close with the famous Nara deer. Interacting with them was a truly unique experience that made the visit even more special and unforgettable. Afterward, we traveled to Fushimi Inari Taisha and walked through the breathtaking Senbon Torii. The seemingly endless pathways of vibrant red torii gates created a striking and almost surreal atmosphere. Walking beneath these gates felt both peaceful and awe-inspiring, making it a highlight of the trip and a perfect way to immerse myself in Japan’s rich traditions and history.
Had such a great time on the Nara & Kyoto day trip! The timing was really good and didn’t feel rushed at all. Jack explained everything clearly in both English and Mandarin. Loved the cute deers in Nara and the beautiful temples in Kyoto. Really fun, relaxing, and definitely worth it!
Date: Sept. 26. Me, my brother and my nephew enjoyed the experience! Fred our tour guide was so pleasant and adorable. Such a time keeper. Instructions are clear, trivia and information were on point! From meet up to return to osaka were flawless. Fred made sure that we are safe during the tour. Highly recommended when you just need a chill vibe tour and have time to enjoy the experience.
Fred the tour guide was extremely thorough and informative in both English and Chinese. This made the tour much less stressful as he was able to explain timeframes, directions and sent us helpful pictures and maps for each stop. There were plenty of food, drink amd souvenir options at each stop. Would definitely recommend going in a cooler month as we went in September and it was very hot.
I loved the place our, guide was really nice to I really recommend her! also the deers were cute they might follow you if you feed them but it was really fun I really recommend it. the ride took a bit long but I still recommend going there it’s really fun.
The tour was lovely and everything was organised very well. Our tour guide was Lucia and she was a wonderful tour guide. She explained everything in great detail and gave a lot of information about the places we visited as well as the places around. Even though she was managing a large group, she still maintained a personal touch, checking on everyone and sending details locations and pins on whatsapp. There was enough time to explore all the locations. I am really glad I took this tour. Best way to experience evrything in a day.
The itinerary was absolutely fantastic! We started in Nara, where the deer-feeding experience was delightful, and the deer were incredibly cute. On the bus, our tour guide, Willa, patiently explained the precautions we needed to take when feeding the deer, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. Next, we headed to Arashiyama for a relaxing lunch and strolled around, admiring the beauty of the bamboo forest, which was incredibly relaxing. A particularly pleasant surprise was finding Rilakkuma, Miffy, and Snoopy specialty shops, along with other unique stores. After that, we arrived in Kyoto and visited the main Chiikawa store, where we bought special Kyoto Chiikawa figurines. Of course, the red "Senbon Torii" (thousands of torii gates) at Fushimi Inari Shrine were breathtaking, and the spectacular view made for incredibly beautiful photos. Our tour guide, Fred, shared many local stories with us, giving us a deeper understanding and experience of the local culture. This trip left a deep impression on us in every location, leaving us with unforgettable memories.
Our trip to Kyoto, Arashiyama, and Nara was truly unforgettable—made even more special by our wonderful guide, Lucia. Her warmth, knowledge, and thoughtful care brought every moment to life—from temple stories to hidden gems and local treats. She made everything smooth, meaningful, and memorable. Thank you, Lucia, for being the heart of this journey. We’ll always remember your kindness and the joy you brought to our adventure.
Our trip to Nara and Kyoto was truly amazing except the downside of beating the heat throughout the trip. Apart from that, everything was perfectly fine and our guide, Frederick is such a helpful and professional guide. He explained the historical context of Japan and we absolutely enjoyed his session very much. He also recommended us to try the Kyoto delicacy (Yuba) at Arashiyama. Will be back and use his service in future
