What to expect
An email will be sent to you between 20:00-21:00 the day before your trip, informing you of the guide and vehicle information for the next day. It might be in your spam folder! During peak season, the push time may be delayed, please understand! If you receive multiple emails, please refer to the latest one!
Experience the ancient charm of Kyoto, the culture of its shrines, and the natural beauty of Nara, a journey that perfectly blends culture and nature.
- 🦌Nara Park - Here, the most endearing sight is undoubtedly the lively and adorable deer. They are full of spirit, and upon seeing deer crackers in visitors’ hands, they eagerly approach, sometimes even surrounding you in groups. But please be careful, as the deer sometimes rush forward, creating a joyful scene of “deer tackles.” Recommended itinerary: Todai-ji Temple, Nandaimon Gate, Nigatsu-do Hall, Sangatsu-do Hall, and other attractions.
- ⛩️Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine - Fushimi Inari-taisha is one of Japan's most famous shrines, renowned for its red torii gates. It enshrines Inari Okami, symbolizing harvest and prosperity. Walking through the layers of torii gates feels like entering a mysterious world.
- 🏯Kiyomizu-dera Temple Area - Recommended itinerary: Kiyomizu-dera Temple🏰 to Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka🎎 to Ishibei-koji Lane🍂 to Gion Hanamikoji Street📜 to Yasaka Shrine🏰 (You can enjoy local Kyoto-style lunch on your own, admire the ancient buildings full of Japanese charm, and keep taking photos with your phone and camera.)

I had so much fun, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish! Since it’s a self-guided tour, there was plenty of room for exploring on our own while still having the flexibility to enjoy the trip at our own pace. Our guide, HaoWen, was also very thoughtful and gave us souvenirs at the end of the trip. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Very affordable and perfect for those who wants self-paced tours but want to avoid the hassle of commuting. Our tour guide Lee has been accommodating and kind all throughout. He even handed out a little souvenir for each one of us before ending the tour. Thank you!
This is a great deal for the price paid. Jin was a great driver who also gave us quick tips for each site visited. Meet up and drop offs at each site was very easy to access. our van had A/C and seats were comfortable.
Today was such a amazing day! Jin our tour guide went above and beyond to ensure we have all the information we needed before the tour, during and after. we arrive to all the plane destinations on time and safely if I could give him 10 stars, I would such an amazing tour guide!!
My Nara and Kyoto Day tour is worth it because I have seen all what I wanted to visit in my bucketlist. Mr. Kin, our driver as well as our Tourguide was friendly, patient with his guest. He waited for the late guests and pick up the late russian couple. He speaks chinese, english and japanese. Most important is he respond fast to my queries per whatsapp. I feel safe and we arrived fast, safe and early back to Osaka as the prefered or planned time given. I highly recommend this tour.
literally the best $50+ I spent on…… Managed to see so much in such a short period of time. driver is fast, efficient, and we had zero miscommunication whatsoever. I had so much fun taking videos of all the beautiful sights. Trust me you won’t regret this.
Let me praise the comfort level of this tour. The vehicles used were very new. The journey from Osaka to Nara was smooth throughout. Once at the scenic spots, we could get off to enjoy ourselves, and when tired, we could get back on the vehicle to rest. In terms of the itinerary, there were both must-see attractions like the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple and some free time for walking around in Nara Town. The rhythm was handled exceptionally well, making it a great choice for those who enjoy in-depth travel but don't want to prepare a detailed itinerary.
During this trip, what impressed me most was Fushimi Inari-taisha, one of Kyoto's oldest shrines. It primarily enshrines Inari Okami, the deity of bountiful harvests, business prosperity, and family safety. The thousands of vermilion torii gates stretching up the mountain behind the shrine are an iconic Kyoto landmark. When I visited, it was around 1 PM, and there were many tourists. Right at the entrance, there were numerous shops where you could rent kimonos, and I saw many young men and women dressed in kimonos. If you walk further into the Senbon Torii (Thousand Torii Gates) ⛩️, there are fewer people, making it easier to take photos. If you just want to quickly look around, it doesn't take long. There's also a mountain behind it that you can climb, which takes a bit more time, and from the top, you can get a panoramic view of Kyoto.
This time, we joined a small group of 13 people. Our guide, Xiao Song, was also our driver. His explanations of the itinerary and helpful tips were very clear. At each stop, he would send us pictures of the itinerary, along with the pick-up location and time. On the way back, he asked us where we wanted to go and dropped us off exactly where we needed to be. This gesture deeply touched us. It was an excellent experience, and we will definitely join again next time.
A few days ago, I was in Tokyo waiting for clear weather to go to Mount Fuji and Kamakura. I didn't arrive in Osaka until the evening of the fourth day by Shinkansen. I'm going back to my country the day after tomorrow, but luckily I found this tour group, and I was able to visit all the attractions in Nara and Kyoto in one day (although it was a bit rushed). At least I have no regrets!
