Tokyo: Shinjuku Bar Hopping & Night City Exploration Walking Tour

A lot of fun if you want to meet people and eat like a local. I made good friends, and we ended up at karaoke, missing the last train. But the experience was worth it.

Hannah was a great host! super fun night, great locations, great food and great company.

I thought the guides where fantastic, I thought food could be of better options it's was a little bit all the same ,but learning from the girls about the history and culture was really good.

I was a little disappointed that the meal menu and the time it took for the food to be prepared were long. The guide was kind and friendly, so I had a great time.

the guide was a young man and new to being guide. 2 of 3 izikaya were good but one was terrible. First izikiya specialized in gyoza and was good with freshly made gyoza. had them with beer. cost per person at first place was 1800. 2nd place was terrible- hot, cramped and food was really bad. had one drink and cost was 2300 which was at least double price if I had been there myself. a ripoff. 3rd place was sake tasting and that was fun. They should disclose how much you will pay before you book. cost per person for drinks and light food was 7200 which is very expensive given what we got. it was hard to understand the guide as his English was not very good. I would not recommend unless they pick better place to replace the 2nd place

I booked this tour then 30 min before we were to meet our guides the sent us a What’s App message that we needed to pay 10k Yen to them in cash before the tour started for food and drink. The tour description said food and beverage was not included. we were planning on paying for what we ordered and drank at each bar. At the time of this posting 10k yen is almost $64 USD per person which is a lot considering the price for food and beer. We felt like it was a bait and switch and asked for our money back. Unfortunately they only gave us half of our money back. Glad we didn’t end up going. The tour was too big anyway, 27 people! The bars are so small that I have no idea how they found places large enough for everyone. Wish they would have given me back my full payment. Be careful before booking with this group.
