Usu Ropeway / Bear Park, diverse choices 【Lake and Mountain Scenery】Lake Toya lakeside stroll, Mt. Yotei “Little Fuji” panoramic view, observatory with four seasons scenery, perfect for photos 【Easy Round Trip】Enjoy core attractions in one day, no rushing, no wasted time
What to expect
【Noboribetsu Hell Valley】 Hokkaido’s representative volcanic geothermal site and the source of Noboribetsu Onsen, famous for its “hellish” spectacle of barren land, swirling smoke, and pervasive sulfur. It is an explosive crater about 450 meters in diameter formed by the eruption of Mount Hiyori. The valley is filled with countless fumaroles, spewing high-temperature gases and hot springs. This desolate landscape is reminiscent of hell, hence its name “Hell Valley.” 【Mount Usu Ropeway】 Mount Usu is one of the world’s active volcanoes, with four eruptions observed during the 100 years of the 20th century. You can experience the geological wonders of the volcano up close, enjoy 360° panoramic views of the lake and mountains, and witness the impressive eruption remnants. 【Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch】 Brown bears are the largest wild mammals in Hokkaido. At the bear ranch, you can feed the brown bears, and upon seeing food, they stand up and wave to visitors, looking adorable and charming. 【Lake Toya Lakeside】 Lake Toya’s surface does not freeze even in winter, making it Japan’s northernmost non-freezing lake, with clear waters flowing all year round. There are numerous lakeside hot spring ryokans where you can enjoy “snow-viewing hot springs”; the streets are dotted with free foot baths and hand baths. 【Mount Yotei】 Hokkaido’s Mount Yotei is also known as “Ezo Fuji” because of its resemblance to Mount Fuji. It essentially looks like a smaller version of Mount Fuji. It is very majestic.

Our family of 5 took the trip with our guide, Lucy. She’s helpful and informative. The trip was very accommodating to our plan getting around the area. Our highlight was the Lake hill farm. unfortunately we didn’t stay long there but we enjoyed our time during the trip.
We were incredibly lucky to have tour guide Hikaru Huang again for our Hokkaido trip, and the overall experience truly exceeded our expectations! From the initial meeting to the end of the day's itinerary, Hikaru was exceptionally professional and attentive. He managed time perfectly, ensuring the schedule was smooth and unhurried, yet we still visited all the key attractions without wasting any time. We also loved his recommendations for local delicacies, such as yogurt and ice cream, which were all memorable and absolutely hit the spot! The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and stress-free. He thoughtfully pointed out great photo opportunities and free time, which was very considerate. At the end of the trip, he even recommended a local yakiniku restaurant, which was absolutely delicious! 👍🏻 This wasn't just a sightseeing tour; it felt more like a trip where we were genuinely well taken care of. If we visit Hokkaido again in the future, we will definitely choose Hikaru Huang again and recommend him to our friends!
This was the second time we had Kevin as our tour guide this trip! My mom and I had a fabulous time seeing all these sights for today’s journey which felt organized, timely, and full of much knowledge! We had issues with 2 of our tour buses but he was able to transition us easily and smoothly into our current bus which made us feel safe! Overall I think the itinerary was well planned and included many different sightseeing spots in Hokkaido! We especially enjoyed Hell Valley which had interesting views of the volcanic crater and had delicious milk pie at Lake Hill Farm! Kevin was a joy to have as our tour guide and provided a lot of good information about the sightseeing spots, recommendations for food, and tips/advice! We would definitely book this tour again and highly recommend it to friends who are visiting!
Had a great and memorable experience with this tour. Weather was pleasant the day we joined in so we were able to enjoy the sceneries, all the places were so beautiful! 😍We opted for Mt. Usu Ropeway instead of the bear ranch and greeted by these views! Our tour guide Lucy was very efficient, speaks fluent english so instructions are easy to understand and communication was a breeze and we were able to make the most of the places we visited. Also learned a lot from her about the culture, history and must-tries of Hokkaido! There is ample time for each place to just see the highlights, but might feel a bit rushed if you want to explore and feel the places more.
We had a wonderful day trip to Noboribetsu and Lake Toya booked through Klook. Our guide, Lucy, was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the journey, making everything smooth and stress-free. The entire experience was seamless, and her recommendations for places to visit and food to try were excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and highly enjoyable from start to finish.
The experiences here was worth it. The timings may be just right or slightly not enough but it’s still worth the views and photo taking! Our guide, Joy, gave us good recommendations and interesting information about each location that we visited.
Hassle free and convenient tour. Snow mobile was the highlight of the trip. You have to pay 15,000 yen for single and 20,000 yen for double. Chilli keeps us on the dot. How I wish there’s a videographer or video stand that takes a quick video coz it’s impossible to record yourself while driving.
Chillin was very accommodating to our request for an english guide and was able to provide an excelent experience, despite us only knowing minimal Japanese. The only thing that could change your experience is the weather. The places chosen were varied and all nice views/great fun. The pro tips given during transfer from place to place came in handy and were overall great recommendations.
The travel time wasn't too long, and we started our day by visiting Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley), where we enjoyed sightseeing. We also had a unique experience feeding bears at the Bear Park. Afterward, we took the ropeway to the summit of Mount Usu and were deeply moved by the incredibly beautiful scenery. We were able to see Lake Toya, even though it was a bit cloudy, and enjoyed a delicious gelato and a break at Lake Hill Farm. The snowmobiling experience that followed was something we don't usually get to do, making it very memorable! The tour guide also provided explanations in Japanese, making for a very fulfilling and enjoyable day. It was a fantastic tour, and we were completely satisfied with our day!
Had an amazing day exploring Hokkaido with this tour! We had to go to Snow World early due to forecasted rain in the afternoon, but it was okay because when we arrived it started snowing! Driving the snowmobile is an unforgettable experience. I wasn’t scared at all because there were professionals with us all the way. The itinerary was well-paced, transportation was smooth, and everything was organized seamlessly. Our tour guide, Chillin, was very accomodating and kept us all on track and on schedule! Definitely a great way to see multiple highlights in one day—highly recommend!
