【Ito Mt. Omuro: Spectacular Volcanic Scenery】
Mt. Omuro in Ito is an ancient volcano with a beautiful conical shape. After reaching the summit, you can walk around the crater trail, enjoying a 360-degree panoramic view of the magnificent Izu Peninsula, with distant views of Mount Fuji and Sagami Bay. Whether it's the cherry blossom season in spring or the autumn leaves, there are different beautiful sceneries throughout the four seasons. The famous anime "Your Name" was also filmed here!

The Izu Peninsula is far from Tokyo, and it would be difficult to get there if you are not traveling by car, so it is best to join a one-day tour. The weather was great today, but it was too windy so we couldn't climb Mt. Omuro
Because I went there on a Saturday, the round-trip drive plus traffic jams took about 10 hours. If you want to go there, it would be better to avoid the weekend. Mount Omuro is beautiful and well worth a visit.
The tour guide, Ms. Li, was very kind, and the driver was very professional. The itinerary was sufficient and we also saw the beautiful scenery of Mount Omuro. It was a worthwhile trip.
The departure meeting point is difficult to find, it is recommended to change to a more convenient place. Maybe the driving time is too long, so the stay at each point is a bit too short, but Mount Omuro is really worth a trip.
