Booked for day trip to Takachiho Gorge and Mount Aso from Kumamoto, visiting various shrines along the way. Scenery along the way was gorgeous. Driver, Mr. Liu, is friendly and drives safely. Vehicle is clean and spacious. Lunch recommendation was good.

However, we had some concerns with the company’s booking process and pricing transparency. After confirming our booking, the company informed us via text that the booking was full and offered to find another car for us at an additional cost of 3000 yen. This unexpected extra charge was disappointing, as we felt this should have been managed without placing the burden on the customer. Additionally, the price quoted for the day trip did not include expressway tolls and parking fees, which significantly increased the total cost. For fixed routes, it would be better if these additional charges were already included in the quoted price, as it provides greater clarity upfront. Overall, while the driver’s service was excellent, the experience could have been smoother with more transparent pricing and better management of booking issues.

Although the driver was Japanese and could only speak Japanese, everything went smoothly. I used Google Translate to find the destination. The driver drove steadily but not fast. I had to make good use of the time.

The trip was canceled on its own due to the typhoon. What’s strange is that the government advised everyone not to go out, but this supplier didn’t take the initiative to cancel, and asked the customer to cancel on their own! I canceled and only got 70% refund, which is totally unreasonable! It is recommended that you do not purchase this itinerary!

The scenic spots on this trip are all far away from Hakata, and the journey takes 2 hours, so chartering is the best choice. The driver is professional and has smooth communication. He will adapt to the situation and discuss it with us, which is very good👍
