Mga bagay na dapat gawin sa Sun Moon Lake

Napakagandang karanasan. Maglakad o magbisikleta sa templo (unang hintuan) kung kaya ninyo. Napakaganda ng tanawin doon. Maraming kainan sa Ita-Thao. Napakaganda ng cable car at ang kabuuang biyahe pabalik-balik ay humigit-kumulang 20 minuto. Bukas ang mga bintana kaya tiyak na mararamdaman mo ang sariwang hangin.

Nagkaroon ako ng napakagandang oras nang hindi gaanong nag-iisip. Ang tour na ito ay mas pinadali ang aking paglalakbay. Nakasalo ako sa isang Chinese meal kasama ang mga estranghero. Ang tour guide, si Dunken, ay nakakatawa at napaka-atento rin. Sa pangkalahatan, isa itong magandang karanasan sa Taichung.

It was a great trip with our guide A Jun. He was very enthusiastic in engaging with us and took great photos of everyone. We had fun and interesting conversations along the road so it was never boring. We went to Sun Moon Lake to ride the boat and landed on the little island with the famous tea egg and temple on top. Then to Ita Thao Shopping Street to have lunch and some shopping. Next we went to the farm for sheeps and equestrian show. Do note that sheep show is only available on holidays. Overall, it was a satisfying trip.

Our trip to Sun Moon Lake was such a beautiful and memorable experience! Our tour guide Mr Lin made it more memorable. He is very friendly, knowledgable, and very patient. Everything was well organized, and he made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every part of the trip. We visited the peaceful Wenwu Temple, enjoyed the stunning views of the lake, and took a relaxing boat ride across the water. The highlight was riding the cable cars, where we got an amazing panoramic view of the mountains and lake from above. From the breathtaking scenery and cultural sites to the relaxing boat ride and exciting cable car experience, Sun Moon Lake is definitely a place worth visiting. A perfect mix of nature, culture, and adventure! Highly recommending this tour to everyone.

Highly recommended for Koreans!!!!!! The Korean-language tour wasn't available on the date I wanted, so I ended up choosing this tour instead, and it was such a great choice!!! First of all, it was so nice that they picked us up directly from our hotel instead of having us gather at a meeting point haha. The tour was held privately with just 6 people in total—me, my mom (2 people), and a Chinese family of 4. The car was super spacious and air-conditioned, which was great! The driver couldn't speak Korean, but he explained everything well using a translator and some English haha. What truly touched me was that I had lost my wallet at the night market the day before T.T. When the driver heard about that, he said that after the tour ended, he would go with me to the night market to ask the vendors, kept calling the police station in between to check if any lost items had been turned in, and even offered to go with me to the police station to help file a report after the tour. We didn't end up going because we figured we wouldn't find it even if we went to the night market T.T., but he kept trying to help us, which really touched both me and my mom haha. Also, the Chinese family traveling with us translated between the driver and us in English and even bought us drinks lol. They were worried about my lost wallet together with us! Anyway, I had a total mental breakdown the day before after losing my wallet, all my exchanged cash, and several cards, but during the tour, my mind actually eased up, and I met good people and had a wonderful tour!!! I didn't know ferry tickets were included, but they were! The price is also reasonable, so Korean folks planning to visit Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands, please use this tour!!!!! The itinerary proceeded as follows: a huge temple at Sun Moon Lake ➡️ Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center? (cool and good for a short rest) ➡️ Sun Moon Lake ferry (basic 3-stop course) ➡️ pineapple cake shop (no purchase required, has a restroom) ➡️ Gaomei Wetlands, and they dropped us off right in front of our hotel at the end haha. Oh, and you can use WhatsApp for communication before the tour~~

Madali lang hanapin ang meeting point at kahit walang tour guide na kasama sa day tour na ito, napaka-self-sufficient nito. Masaya ang tour sa Sun Moon Lake na may maraming pagpipilian ng pagkain. Ngunit para sa mga gustong mag-explore sa isla sa pamamagitan ng cable car, ferry o bus, maaaring hindi sapat ang half day tour na ito. Ang natitirang kalahating araw ay para bisitahin ang isang chocolate factory, huminto para sa donuts sa isang cafe at bumisita sa Paper Dome.

Nakakalungkot na ang transfer na hiwalay naming na-book ay hindi kami ibinaba sa lokasyon ng bike rental, ngunit ayos lang dahil nasiyahan pa rin kami sa Sun Moon Lake at nakapaglakad-lakad. Buti na lang at 10 minutong lakad lang ang ropeway kaya agad kaming nakasakay. Maswerte kami na weekday noon kaya hindi gaanong maraming turista at kami lang ang nakasakay sa gondola. Madali lang ang pagkuha ng ropeway, umakyat lang kami sa 3rd floor at ipinakita ang QR code at tinatakan nila ang aming mga kamay ng glow-in-the-dark stamp para sa Formosan at handa na kami. Maganda ang 5-10 minutong biyahe sa ropeway. Sa dulo ng ropeway mula sa SML, may ilang food stall. Pagpasok sa Formosan, i-scan lang ang stamp sa iyong kamay at maaari ka nang sumakay muli sa gondola papunta sa theme park. Weekday noon kaya kami lang ang tao sa lugar at walang pila. Nakakalungkot na umulan buong araw ngunit nakasakay pa rin kami sa ilang rides doon.
