great start to finish 9am on time and reached Athens station 11pm~. Shoutout to Yanis our driver, safe driver and Vassou our tour guide, she was friendly and knowledgeable!! saw 3 monasteries inside and they even brought us to view the 4th one although from outside as that closes early but it’s fine .. it’s the first monastery built and the most gorgeous one! worth the steps to visit all 3 monasteries. lunch was great too. only downside was the dinner which was very expensive , guess typical tourist trap euro20 for 2 souvlaki skewers w fries, salad and a water bottle. there’s other food options which I overheard other passengers complaining about the prices they had to pay as well. but other than that, beautiful trip! enough toilet breaks w toilets in the monasteries we visited

Guiden var mycket omfattande och turen gick smidigt från upphämtningsplatsen! Vi fick bra information om Akropolis och artefakter i museet.

Vår guide Angela var fantastisk, hon förklarade allt mycket detaljerat och var väldigt rolig!

Denna tur till Kap Sounion är ett måste när du besöker Aten! Kustvägen är hisnande (tack vare chauffören Panos), och Poseidons tempel vid solnedgången är ren magi. Vår guide, Maria, var fenomenal. Hon var vänlig, entusiastisk, mycket organiserad och en fantastisk berättare som väckte myterna och historien till liv. Hon såg till att vi hade gott om tid att njuta av stranden och utsikten utan att känna oss stressade. Det var en felfri tur, och jag rekommenderar den varmt till alla!

we really enjoyed our tour! our tour guide was great (unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name). she was patient and attentive to all group members. The pace of the tour was good and she was very knowledgeable about the history of the site and Athens in general. My shy son even felt comfortable asking her questions.

Utsikten över Meteora överträffade vida mina förväntningar. Landskapet är helt fantastiskt, och klostren som ligger uppe på de höga klippformationerna gör detta till ett verkligt oförglömligt resmål. Det är definitivt värt besöket. Den enda nackdelen är att, eftersom Meteora är ganska avlägset, är tiden som tilldelas varje kloster ganska kort. Jag hade gärna velat spendera mer tid med att utforska och uppskatta varje enskilt kloster.

Irene K and our driver George were an absolute pleasure! George is an excellent photographer with a wonderful sense of humour and Irene K was truly fantastic. she is extremely knowledgeable, flexible and adaptable to peoples interests and shared so much history and context that was truly valuable. Having such a qualified and experienced archaeologist as a guide to such ancient and important spaces was a real blessing! as for the trip itself, it was perfectly paced really such a special experience! I am so glad that I joined this tour and highly recommend it. The only negative thing I can think of was that the food at the restaurant for lunch on the first day was just okay and a little overpriced. Perhaps to tour company might consider some other locations to stop for lunch. Even just a smaller local spot considering the group itself was only small.

Att göra Atens stadsrundtur med buss och Akropolis-promenaden var det bästa beslutet jag tog. Haha~ Vår guide Dimitris delade med sig av massor av historiska fakta och det var roligt. Chauffören Yanis navigerade smidigt genom stadskärnan och släppte av oss vid Akropolis. Sevärdheten kan vara mycket trång och lite brant, men guiden hanterade oss väl och såg till att ingen kom bort. Boka den här turen – den får de antika ruinerna att komma till liv på ett sätt som ingen text kan återskapa!

I participated in a 2-day, 1-night tour. For the hotel in Kalambaka, I chose the 4-star option, but I ended up being the only person placed in a large hotel on the outskirts of town. It took about a 20-minute walk to get to the town center. Given this, I would have rather stayed at a 3-star hotel in the center of town. I was satisfied with the tour content, though. The tour to see the sunset in Meteora was amazing. The next day, due to a misunderstanding on my part, I ended up booking a hiking tour. While this turned out to be nice in its own way, I wish I had chosen the option to visit more monasteries instead. Since it is far from Athens, I am glad I didn't do a day trip. If I am being picky, the pickup time on the second day could have been a little earlier.
