National Archaeological Museum of Athens චාරිකා

great start to finish 9am on time and reached Athens station 11pm~. Shoutout to Yanis our driver, safe driver and Vassou our tour guide, she was friendly and knowledgeable!! saw 3 monasteries inside and they even brought us to view the 4th one although from outside as that closes early but it’s fine .. it’s the first monastery built and the most gorgeous one! worth the steps to visit all 3 monasteries. lunch was great too. only downside was the dinner which was very expensive , guess typical tourist trap euro20 for 2 souvlaki skewers w fries, salad and a water bottle. there’s other food options which I overheard other passengers complaining about the prices they had to pay as well. but other than that, beautiful trip! enough toilet breaks w toilets in the monasteries we visited

Guide was very comprehensive and the tour went smoothly from pick-up point! We received good information about Acropolis and artefacts in the museum.

The views of Meteora far exceeded my expectations. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the monasteries perched atop the towering rock formations make this a truly unforgettable destination. It’s definitely worth the visit. The only downside is that, because Meteora is quite remote, the time allocated for each monastery is rather short. I would have loved to spend more time exploring and appreciating each one.

ඇතන්ස් වෙත පැමිණෙන විට මෙම කේප් සූනියන් සංචාරය අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම කළ යුතු දෙයකි! වෙරළබඩ ගමන සිත් ඇදගන්නා සුළුය (රියදුරු පැනෝස් හට ස්තූතියි), සහ හිරු බැස යන විට පොසෙයිඩන් දේවාලය පිරිසිදු මැජික් එකකි. අපගේ මාර්ගෝපදේශිකා මාරියා අතිවිශිෂ්ට විය. ඇය මිත්‍රශීලී, උද්යෝගිමත්, ඉතා සංවිධානාත්මක වූ අතර, මිථ්‍යාවන් සහ ඉතිහාසය ජීවමාන කළ පුදුමාකාර කතන්දරකාරියක් විය. අපට ඉක්මන් නොවී වෙරළ සහ දර්ශන භුක්ති විඳීමට ප්‍රමාණවත් කාලයක් ඇති බව ඇය සහතික කළාය. එය දෝෂ රහිත සංචාරයක් වූ අතර, මම ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට මෙම සංචාරය බෙහෙවින් නිර්දේශ කරමි!

we really enjoyed our tour! our tour guide was great (unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name). she was patient and attentive to all group members. The pace of the tour was good and she was very knowledgeable about the history of the site and Athens in general. My shy son even felt comfortable asking her questions.

Irene K and our driver George were an absolute pleasure! George is an excellent photographer with a wonderful sense of humour and Irene K was truly fantastic. she is extremely knowledgeable, flexible and adaptable to peoples interests and shared so much history and context that was truly valuable. Having such a qualified and experienced archaeologist as a guide to such ancient and important spaces was a real blessing! as for the trip itself, it was perfectly paced really such a special experience! I am so glad that I joined this tour and highly recommend it. The only negative thing I can think of was that the food at the restaurant for lunch on the first day was just okay and a little overpriced. Perhaps to tour company might consider some other locations to stop for lunch. Even just a smaller local spot considering the group itself was only small.

I participated in a 2-day, 1-night tour. For the hotel in Kalambaka, I chose the 4-star option, but I ended up being the only person placed in a large hotel on the outskirts of town. It took about a 20-minute walk to get to the town center. Given this, I would have rather stayed at a 3-star hotel in the center of town. I was satisfied with the tour content, though. The tour to see the sunset in Meteora was amazing. The next day, due to a misunderstanding on my part, I ended up booking a hiking tour. While this turned out to be nice in its own way, I wish I had chosen the option to visit more monasteries instead. Since it is far from Athens, I am glad I didn't do a day trip. If I am being picky, the pickup time on the second day could have been a little earlier.

ඇතන්ස් නගර සංචාරය බස් රථයෙන් සහ ඇක්‍රොපොලිස් ඇවිදීම මම ගත් හොඳම තීරණය විය. හාහා~ අපගේ මාර්ගෝපදේශක ඩිමිට්‍රිස් බොහෝ ඓතිහාසික කරුණු බෙදාගත් අතර එය විනෝදජනක විය. රියදුරු යැනිස් නගර මධ්‍යය හරහා සුමටව ගමන් කර අපව ඇක්‍රොපොලිස් වෙත බස්සවා ඇත. මෙම ආකර්ෂණය ඉතා ජනාකීර්ණ විය හැකි අතර තරමක් බෑවුම් සහිත විය හැකි නමුත්, කිසිවෙකු අතපසු නොවන බවට වග බලා ගනිමින් මාර්ගෝපදේශකයා අපව හොඳින් කළමනාකරණය කළේය. මෙම සංචාරය වෙන්කරවා ගන්න—එය කිසිදු පෙළකට අනුකරණය කළ නොහැකි ආකාරයකින් පුරාණ නටබුන් ජීවමාන කරයි!
