Čo robiť v CHIANGMAI ELEPHANT CARE

Rueang bol náš sprievodca a večer pred naším výletom skvele komunikoval, čo si máme priniesť a kedy sa máme stretnúť. Poslal nám veľmi podrobný program dňa a bol veľmi pozorný k našim otázkam. Výlet so slonmi bol neskutočne zábavný a dozvedel som sa veľa o thajských druhoch. Plavba na bambusových raftoch bola pokojná a krásna. Naozaj som si užil lepkavý vodopád a výstup naň. Povedal by som, že toto je povinná jazda, ak máte v Chiang Mai voľný deň. Výborná práca, Rueang! Ďakujeme aj za poslané fotky.

My first trip to Chiang Mai on May 8, 2026, left me with unforgettable memories. From JJ's initial introduction and explanation, I could feel the park's dedication to this project. It wasn't a commercial performance tour, but rather one that truly prioritized the elephants' lives and care. The itinerary included a fruit feeding experience, but more time was spent quietly observing the elephants living freely, walking, playing in the water, and interacting. There were no forced performances or rides; instead, we accompanied and got to know them in the most natural way. I also want to tell everyone that if you come to Chiang Mai, an experience like this is truly worthwhile. Even though the journey is a bit long, I hope everyone can understand that it's precisely because they are far from the city that they have more spacious land to roam freely. Watching them live so freely, it felt as if I could sense the elephants' genuine happiness and the feeling of being well-treated.

Chiang Mai Elephant Poopoopaper Park je veľmi kreatívny! Môžete si vlastnoručne premeniť sloní trus 🤭 na ekologický papier, čo je zábavné aj ekologické. Po úvode si môžete vyrobiť rôzne výrobky, ako sú záložky, obaly na pasy, zápisníky a podobne. Produkty sú rozmanité, je z čoho vyberať, čo z neho robí ideálnu voľbu pre rodinné aktivity. Pri vstupe dostane každá rodina papier z trusu inej farby, čo jasne pomáha s rozdelením do skupín, veľmi profesionálne. Personál je nadšený a profesionálny a môžete si vybrať z dvoch rôznych jazykov pre úvod, čo vyhovuje rôznym potrebám turistov. Je to naozaj zábavné!

Napriek dažďu som mal úžasný zážitok z návštevy Maerim Elephant Home. Slony sú tak rozkošné a celý personál bol veľmi ústretový. Najprv nás informovali o všetkom, čo sa týka slonov, a ako súčasť nášho zájazdu sme dostali chutné jedlo. Toto je skutočne zážitok, ktorý musíte vyskúšať, ak navštívite Chiang Mai v Thajsku.

The driver arrived at the hotel lobby earlier than scheduled and contacted us directly via WhatsApp. The drive from the Nimman area to the sanctuary wasn't too far, but we happened to visit during Chiang Mai's rainy season, and it poured once we got up the mountain. However, the driver was very polite and waited for us to get ready. After a brief discussion, he refunded the cost of the complimentary drinks in cash and continued to wait while we finished our interaction with the elephants. The bananas and sugarcane provided for the elephants were quite fresh, and the staff were friendly to children and helped take photos. The dining area was clean and tidy. There weren't too many people at the sanctuary, probably fewer than 20.

Great experience with the elephants! Feeding them and making vitamin balls for them is a brand new experience for our family and we really enjoyed it! We didn't join for the bathing, because of our little one, but it looks fun! We will definitely visit again!

The pick-up staff arrived at the hotel lobby at the designated time to collect us and also dropped us back off at the hotel lobby at the end, which was fantastic. We experienced a location error during the booking process, but the platform promptly contacted us and made the necessary changes, for which we are very grateful. Seeing the elephants was wonderful; our child was very happy and learned a lot about elephants. All in all, it was a worthwhile trip.

🤩 The cooking experience at CASA DE MANGO🥭 was amazing! 1️⃣ The super warm and lovely Uncle Song took us on a tour of the Mango House estate, introducing us to various spices. We picked and tasted them right there! [playful] 2️⃣ Even abroad, we diligently cooked a meal. Actually, the estate staff prepared all the ingredients, and we made a DIY pre-made meal. [facepalm] 3️⃣ Uncle Song's emotional support was spot on! For every dish we made, he'd give us high-fives 🙌, thumbs-ups 👍, and even included his singing, dancing, and excellent cooking demonstrations. The whole process was incredibly joyful! [jumping] (It was like watching a skit; he even gave us a play performance, haha.) ✅ With over a dozen of us picking, cooking, singing, and laughing together, I truly experienced the "charm of a group."

Money well spent. The communication with the guide, Mel, was clear and consistent since the eve, letting us know of any issue ans what to wear before the day. as soon as we were picked up, Mel engaged with us and started connecting. he explained the itinerary clearly and advised us throughout the way. there were sufficient toilet breaks and coffee breaks for the day which was very welcomed based on the itinerary. the explanation given by Mel at the elephant sanctuary and the other attractions was very thorough and you could see his passion for his job and his culture. you could see the difference with all the guides around who were very swift and light touched. Mel taught us some Thai words and advised us on our plans for the night. the attractions are great, you must come prepared either good shoes, anti mosquito and raincoats. interacting with elephants so closely and so intimately was a one time experience. the forest was mesmerising and the waterfall so refreshing and powerful
