Things to do in CHIANGMAI ELEPHANT CARE

I highly recommend this park and this tour. Although the journey there takes over an hour, it's truly worth it. You get to watch the elephants eat, feed them, and there's no pressure for them to bathe or have mud baths. You just walk around with the elephants, and they just keep eating and eating. Anyone who loves elephants will find it incredibly therapeutic. The driver, guide, and park staff were all very friendly.

By a twist of fate, I accidentally rebooked at another branch, Makkha Health & Spa Chiang Mai (Ancient House). The service was excellent. My masseuse, Nice (number 3), had fantastic massage skills and made me feel very comfortable. I will definitely visit again. Masseuse: Nice, excellent technique.

I highly recommend this tour. You'll get to see different facets of Thailand, have a lot of fun, and learn so much.

Unforgettable experience at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary! 😊 Got up close and personal with these gentle giants - feeding, petting, and even watching them splash around in the mud bath was pure magic. The mini activities and free drinks were the cherry on top. Super ethical and responsible sanctuary, felt great supporting their cause. If you're an animal lover or just want a unique experience, this is a must-do in Chiang Mai!

The environment is beautiful, the technicians' skills are good, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Tea and snacks are provided after the treatment.

Think of it as transport not tour. Driver was on time and drove smoothly and let us know when to meet back at the van. Loved checking out the Elephant Poo Paper Park (not smelly at all haha) and the Sticky Waterfall was so cool! The waterfall closed at 430 though so we were rushed by the park rangers near the end. Overall worth it to not worry about transportation.

I booked the 2-hour scrub & oil massage course this time. The salon was very oriental, and the tea during the consultation was delicious. The treatment was careful, gentle, and very satisfying. My skin became moist and smooth, and the extra swelling was removed, which was wonderful. The tea and sweets I received after the treatment were very tasty, and I bought some to take home. I think there are many salons in Chiang Mai, but I'm glad I chose this one.

guide Sonya is very knowledgeable and jovious. We enjoyed her explanation on the history and purpose of elephant sanctuary and how they take good care of the elephants rescued from the wild. The elephant feeding, river bathe and mud spa was a good experience despite getting wet and dirty 😅🐘
