Čo robiť v New Taipei

I came to the public bath on a weekday and it's so quiet and nice. On the day I visited, only Taiwanese people were in the baths. The staff are very friendly... The receptionists speak excellent English, and when I wasn't sure where to go in the bath area, a staff member came over and used a translator to guide me. They were truly kind. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it was really great. For those using the public bath, just show your Klook voucher at reception, get your key, go down the stairs, and the women's bath is on the left and the men's bath is on the right (written in Korean). You can enter accordingly. Like a Korean sauna, you put your shoes in the locker corresponding to your key number, come in, undress in a locker, put on a gown and a hair cap, then come to the public bath area, shower, and then enter the bath. They asked us to remove our makeup before entering if we were wearing any! (Let's be polite Koreans and follow this rule, haha.) But honestly, there's no need to wear makeup when going to a hot spring. Cell phones are prohibited inside the bath! You can use them in the resting area. And the water is super soft, it feels like it's good for your skin.

I've enjoyed onsens in Taiwan and this one takes one of the top spots for my favorite places. The view from the public bath was beautiful and serene. It has tea and coffee, the products you can use after bathing are of great quality too. My only concern was for some reason, the water from the showers only produced hot water even after turning the knob to cold. The jet pools are perfect. Overall a great experience.

Tour guide Youngshim is the best! Since I was traveling to Taiwan with my mother, I had a lot of worries about the schedule and transportation, but thanks to the guide, it turned out to be a really comfortable and perfect trip! She carefully took care of the itinerary and guided us step-by-step on how to use public transit in an easy-to-understand way, so we were able to spend our time fruitfully without getting lost. I was deeply moved by her kind and professional attitude. If I come to Taiwan again next time, I would definitely want to travel with her again. Thank you so much!

A retro highlight! The 5-minute open-air ride feels like a fun vintage roller coaster with breezy river views. It's a total lifesaver for skipping the uphill walk to the waterfall if you're traveling with kids or seniors. This tour is super worth it! Although time is a little short in each stop, the convenience of not having to transfer to a different bus or train makes it worth the while especially for us who are first time visitors. Our tour guide Mr. Cheney Cheng is very approachable and guided us well! Highly recommended for people who have trouble with directions and navigation as well as those with kids, elderly, and people with disability.

It was a very nice and pleasant experience. It's a sunny day, we went there with a tour bus which walked us to the store itself, then we got given the 4-colour lantern and provided with black calligraphy pen to write our wishes, each colour represent a different area of life, e.g. health and wealth etc. We wrote our lantern inside the shop before going outdoor. There are staff using our phones to taking photos and videos of us on the train track and gave us poses to take pictures of the different sides of the lantern.

Kúpili sme si lístky deň vopred a vymenili ich na mieste. Je tu akvárium, kde sa dá schladiť, a predstavenie v divadle trvalo dlhšie, než sme čakali. Bolo tam profesionálne potápačské predstavenie, z ktorého mali radosť deti aj dospelí. Deti sa dozvedeli viac o morských živočíchoch.

Manyueyuan is flat and easy to walk, but it gets very crowded on holidays. The latter part of the trail near the waterfall has stairs, which can be a bit strenuous. We recommend starting your hike early, visiting the waterfall area first, and then taking the self-guided trail down the mountain for an easier descent!

formidable view 🙂 easy access though it depends for the queueing or line of the tourist because when we travel its weekday(tuesday) less crowd experience and we have a superb hassle free booking with klook 💕⭐️though i did not claim yet the starbucks voucher gift because staff says its only available in the city.But overall satisfied 🙂⭐️💯
