the 2 days pass is worth taking. we took the local train which is only one hour more than limited express. and the frequency of the train is very fast. unlike limited express, although is more comfortable, the ticket has to purchase in advance. the free bus ride allow us to take from station to the shinkyo bridge, then to the temple and back to hotel for 2 days. however, the bus is crowded. sometimes, we walk for short distance instead.

The unlimited pass is a great value. Just the two bus trips from Kinugawa Onsen to Yunishikawa Onsen already exceed the total value of the pass.
