The price is at least 100 yen cheaper. You can only redeem it at a green automatic ticket machine that can scan passports (at Fukui Station, only machine #5 works, and it must be marked with "5489").
⚠️ You can select Chinese on the machine. The redemption process is slightly different from what's described in the app. I ended up asking a staff member for help with the redemption, and I found that their sequence was to first scan the passport, then directly select QR code scan, and then follow the prompts to issue the ticket.
⚠️ After the ticket is issued, you need to reinsert it into the machine to select the date and seat. Because I was worried about not being familiar with the process, I exchanged my ticket a day in advance, which was very wise. This way, I wasn't rushed on the day of travel.

Alpen Takayama Matsumoto Pass Review – My Honest Opinion
I used this pass during my recent trip to Japan, which included the itinerary: Nagoya → Matsumoto → Alpine Route → Toyama → Takayama → Nagoya.
1. **Fast Delivery of Exchange Voucher:** It was great to receive the pass exchange voucher within two days of ordering.
2. **Easy Exchange for Physical Ticket at Nagoya Station JR Counter:** The process of exchanging the pass at the counter and immediately reserving seats made train travel much more convenient during the trip.
3. **High Utility for Multi-Region Travel:** Since my plan was to travel through Matsumoto, the Alpine Route, Toyama, and Takayama, it was very convenient not to have to arrange separate transportation for each segment.
4. **Beautiful Scenery from the Train:** The views from the train were truly wonderful. There were many sections where I traveled through mountains and natural landscapes, making the journey itself feel like part of the trip.
5. **Excellent Customer Service:** When an unexpected situation arose during my trip, Klook's customer service responded in real-time, allowing me to resolve the issue without much difficulty.
6. **Planning to Use Again:** I was very satisfied with this trip and plan to use Klook again when I visit next time.

Dormy Inn Toyama consistently maintains the group's exceptionally high standards! The hotel features very comfortable indoor hot springs and a sauna. After a relaxing soak, complimentary ice cream and lactic acid drinks are provided, along with their signature free late-night ramen. Although it's about a 15-minute walk from JR Toyama Station, the hotel is directly opposite Toyama Castle Park, and there's a tram stop nearby, making it very convenient to access major city attractions. If you're driving, you can enjoy a parking discount of 1,400 JPY per day when parking at the hotel or a nearby partner parking lot. Overall, this place offers excellent value for money!

Tokyo inn Toyama gave me a beautiful hotel experience ever, 2 minute walk to station and convenience store , breakfast has both Japanese style and western style, plus you can explore the good mountain view , I will come back again.

A wonderful hotel with paid parking lots for those who drive. Staff are very friendly and it is close to Toyama Castle and the Matsukawa River to see Sakura.
