Always enjoy staying at Rydges. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Large, clean room. Restaurant staff were great at breakfast and in the bar for dinner.

Fantástico

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and nice selections for breakfast! The hotel is conveniently located a couple blocks from the new convention center, and a couple more blocks from shopping on Queen Street. In particular, the shower heated up quickly and helped warm me up on the cool winter Auckland mornings.

The place is a bit run down and not what it used to be. If you want a cheap place with a comfy bed and no frills, it’s good. Breakfast is always good

Great location, had a conference at the Aotea Center, easy walk morning and afternoon, great little food places in walking distance, not far from Vaiduct, supermarket within walking distance, rest full nights, top service

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, lovely staff, making for a pleasant stay. However, the room could benefit from some maintenance, as a few furnishings were in need of repair. The bathroom was also very small, with limited space—the toilet was positioned so close to the shower that my knees touched the shower glass while sitting. With a few improvements and more accurate representation of the rooms, the overall experience would be much better.

Always love staying at this hotel! It’s in a great location, beds are very comfortable and things are generally pretty quiet in the rooms. I love your $10 happy hour as well. My only critique would be of BREAKFAST. I’d love to see a few more options with the hot dishes and not see the same thing every day. For anyone looking for parking there is a building right next door which only charges $15 per day Friday through Sunday. Very convenient
