We travel to Auckland a lot and always stay at the Grand, we have found it to be situated nicely for convenience of walking to town etc, always clean friendly with an excellent Valet service Recommend to anyone wanting a convenient and cost effective place to stay in the city

What an incredible hotel! We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who advised we had a free upgrade. The room was stunning with amazing harbour views of the harbour bridge. We were surprised by a knock at the door and received a free bottle of wine for my birthday a few days prior. The gym, pool, spa and sauna were immaculate and had everything you needed. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend for a special night away.

Lovely hotel in the perfect location, surrounded by some great restaurants. Rooms are a reasonable size, good amenities, my only negative is the lighting in the bathroom. 🚽 moods only for women to do make up as the lighting is so terrible. Otherwise though, a great hotel.

Really loved this hotel. So easy to access with the direct airport bus and once the trains are running again, that will be even quicker. All staff were extremely professional and the entire hotel was well-kept, including the pool and hot tub area. My room was fabulous - clean, well organized and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Me and my partner had a one night stay with the grand king room. Have no issues with the room, it was clean and well maintained. Only gripe was the bathroom was quite small. Everything was quite low in the bathroom. Had a good stay with the hotel being staffed for what seem to be 24/7. Parking isn’t very friendly as you’ll have to park at Skycity and their prices aren’t the greatest. Besides that, it’s a nice hotel but probably will go check out another hotel as I am a local and just wanted to visit.
