The tour guide explained Ginzan Onsen very diligently and thoroughly, which made us appreciate it even more.

The timing was perfect, with ample time given for each attraction. I was pleasantly surprised that the itinerary also included lunch and cable car tickets! The lunch was delicious and not just a casual meal, and the tour guide was very friendly. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

Overall, I had a great experience! The tour was conducted in Chinese/Japanese (and I knew this before joining, lol), but the guide, Fang Chi, was incredibly kind and patient. She made the effort to communicate with me through Google Translate, which I really appreciated and made me feel included throughout the trip. The whole group was well taken care of, and the ride was very comfortable. The locations were quite far from each other, so we spent less than 2 hours at each stop, but it was still enough time to enjoy the sights and experience the places, especially if you’re short on time and want to see multiple spots in one day. I would definitely recommend this for travelers who want a convenient and hassle-free way to explore.

We went in late April, and the weather was still very cold, especially at Zao Okama where the wind was strong. Make sure to bring warm, windproof clothing. Luckily, there was a visitor center where we could rest and escape the cold! The lunch portion was generous and delicious.

The entire day trip was very enjoyable, offering a glimpse of everything from the delicate beauty of spring to heavy snow, all in one day. Ginzan Onsen was smaller than I expected; you could actually walk through it in under an hour.

Two years ago, my first visit to Ginzan Onsen was met with a breathtaking blizzard. I was stunned by the beauty and frozen by the temperature. Although I enjoyed the purest sentiments of Taisho Romance, the heavy snowfall prevented me from taking many photos, leaving me with only one picture and a lingering regret. This time, I decided to revisit those memories with my camera. Without the overwhelming white snow and bustling crowds, I could better appreciate the retro charm of the place. I made up for everything I missed last time: the waterfall, the mine I hadn't explored, and the small shops I couldn't browse thoroughly. Ginzan without snow offered a quiet elegance, and this dream-fulfilling trip finally completed the beautiful regret from years ago. A special commendation goes to the incredibly rich and delicious set lunch; I even thought it was extravagant. It was truly a beautiful plating art, and I thank the travel agency for their thoughtfulness.
