There were no tours available for solo participants in Japanese, so I booked this English/Chinese tour. However, it turned out to be a wonderful tour because I was able to converse with our guide, Hana, in a mix of Korean and Japanese! She took photos and videos for me, and even helped me find an empty seat at Starbucks, which was incredibly helpful!! Thank you, God, for a wonderful trip☺️

I decided to join the day before. Although I was participating alone, our guide, HANA, spoke not only English but also Japanese, and she was very helpful and made the experience enjoyable by getting me a seat at Starbucks and taking photos for me. It was a bit cloudy, but I was able to see the opposite shore through the telescope. Thank you very much.

It seemed difficult to go alone, so I joined a tour. It was a very meaningful experience to be able to see North Korea firsthand while learning about its history. Our guide, Kim, was very dedicated, and I'm truly glad I participated in the tour.

Today's tour guide was Jean, who was super friendly and spoke excellent Chinese. Her explanations were very clear, and we learned about the history of North and South Korea and the origin of the Demilitarized Zone! It snowed the night before we came to Aegi Peak, and I was worried we wouldn't be able to see North Korea. Thankfully, the weather at Aegi Peak was great, very comfortable, and there was even a Starbucks where we could enjoy warm coffee. Plus, you can buy an Aegi Peak Starbucks city mug! It has great commemorative value.
