Passeios por Na Hye-seok Street

It's a must-do tour; they show you the wall and Suwon Palace, and tell you many detailed parts of its history. Philip is a very good guide and will also make sure everyone understands the explanation, has fun, and can take home souvenir photos. We had the opportunity to do the archery activity because we were well on time; it's 3000 won, very cheap and fun. Also, during the visit, he took us in time for the Suwon Palace exhibition, and for lunch, he took us to the exact spot to take a photo of the Starfield Library. Finally, the temple at the end is beautiful and peaceful. Prepare good shoes because you'll need them for walking. I loved it; it's a 10/10 experience.

This was a trip down memory lane since mostly are historica ml places with slight side trip on the mall at the beautiful starfield library in Suwon. Our tour guide Mr. Philip (can also be called Mr. Handsome 😂) was really well-versed and explained all the spots of the tour well. He was also very clear with how instructions all throughout starting from the day before the trip until it ended! Thank you Mr. Philip it was extra fun because you managed time well so enjoyed all the places!

The car for this trip was very punctual. The driver, an older gentleman, messaged us via Kakao, sending a picture of the car and telling us where to meet and at what time. It was excellent! We woke up early, ready to go (it was very cold, rainy, and windy, but we went anyway). When the driver arrived, he invited us to sit and said, "Good morning! Where are you all from?" We replied, "Thailand," and he joked, "Thailand, and then Taipei. Today, I'll be picking up two more people from Taipei." After that, we departed from Hongdae to Myeongdong. Once everyone was picked up, we headed straight to Suwon as planned. Our first stop was the Starfield Library. I don't know how the driver managed, but I fell asleep as soon as the car started, which means he must have been driving well. We arrived before the mall opened. While waiting for it to open, the driver told us, "It's on the 4th floor, go right up." And the next stop was "Whole Chicken Street" (I was so confused, blaming the app for a bad translation). We went to eat fried chicken! We ordered two plates: one regular fried and one with Korean sauce. It was only then that I realized "whole chicken" literally meant a whole chicken! It was one chicken, but prepared in two styles. We ate, a bit confused, but there was so much that we had to take some home. The next place was a palace; I can't remember its name. The restrooms were amazing; they let us into the palace just to use the restroom. It was cold, but we went into the palace for a bit, paying an entrance fee (I don't remember how much). We ended the trip at Seonjae, which was easy to find as the driver gave us directions. The driver was excellent, acting as both driver and guide, making this trip truly impressive. And that's the end of it!

Très belle visite et bien pour les personnes âgées. Ma grand-mère a apprécié la visite. Jenny est très arrangeante et nous a beaucoup aidés. Elle connaît très bien la visite.

интересный вечер. гид Дракон был невероятно осведомлен. мой сын очень интересовался историей Сувона, и он смог ответить на все его вопросы, а я увлекалась корейскими дорамами, и он знал все мои сериалы и даже указал на пару мест съемок корейских дорам. Крепость потрясающе выглядит ночью, и наш тур действительно это подчеркнул. отличный тур. стоит каждой копейки.

This trip is one for the books! There are not many people in the places visited, but the history and culture surrounding every single area was amazing! Our guide Cory made sure to explain things to us and gave us the freedom to manage our time with his guidance. The lunch we had near Hwaseong Palace was superb. Having a private tour is a plus because you get to budget your own time at your own convenience. Suwon was really beautiful!

I think this is the best tour I have had so far in this trip. If you book, ask for Minnie. She’s really knowledgeable and informative; you’ll learn a lot about the history of Suwon and South Korea. I definitely recommend Minnie! :)

Kami tiba di Perkampungan Tradisional Korea 30 minit lebih awal jadi lawatan berpandu sendiri bermula dari jam 10.30 pagi hingga 2.00 petang. Saya gembira kerana dapat menyaksikan persembahan pada jam 11.30 pagi dan 12.00 tengah hari. Terdapat banyak gerai makanan jadi anda tidak perlu risau jika anda lapar. Lawatan ini benar-benar membawa kami kembali ke zaman dahulu di Korea. Muzium Rakyat Korea juga sangat menarik. Anda akan belajar banyak. Bawa payung kerana cuaca boleh menjadi agak panas pada waktu siang. Pasti akan datang lagi tetapi mungkin lain kali saya akan mencuba lawatan malam.
