Tour guiado por Seoul Starfield Suwon e Fortaleza de Hwaseong

This trip was outstanding, largely thanks to our tour guide, Eva from VIP Travel. From the moment she introduced herself to the end of the tour, she was incredibly helpful. She made the experience fascinating by sharing the history and interesting facts about every stop. Eva stayed with us the entire time, guiding us through all the must-see areas so we didn't miss a thing, and she patiently answered all our questions. Thank you so much, Eva!

Jay, nuestro guía es bueno. Pudo explicar la importancia de la ciudad de Suwon durante la dinastía Joseon. Solo pudimos ir a una parte de la Fortaleza Hwaseong porque hacía mucho frío el día que estuvimos allí en Suwon. También fuimos al palacio donde se alojaba el rey en Suwon. También fuimos a la Biblioteca Starfield, es mucho más hermosa que la de Gangnam. Los 3 lugares habrían sido geniales para mí. La Cueva de Gwangmyeong no tiene nada de especial. Luces LED, un pequeño museo, una tienda de vinos y una bodega. Eso es todo. En general, no se perderá la visita a la cueva.

Our tour guide, Gabby, was a lovely lady who was very attentive to the needs of her tour members, ensuring that each group had opportunities for photo-taking and sufficient toilet breaks. She also patiently explained the key details of each destination, ensuring not to bore us while still providing sufficient background and history for each site. It was raining when we arrived back in Myeongdong, and both the driver and Gabby were so kind as to drop us near our hotel instead of the usual drop-off point so that we wouldn't get caught in the rain. Thank you to Gabby and the driver! It was a great experience!

Eva, notre guide, nous a fait passer une journée agréable et s'est bien occupée de nous. Le transport s'est déroulé sans encombre. Le point culminant du voyage a été la forteresse de Hwaseong, entourée de magnifiques couleurs automnales. Nous aurions préféré ne pas visiter la grotte de Gwangmyeong si nous avions eu la possibilité de choisir les lieux à visiter.

The fortress was so beautiful. We loved the grounds, and the palace and martial arts demonstration were good to see. The Starfield mall and library were amazing. Nice mall. The cave tour was unexpectedly quirky. Great photos, though.

If you're in Seoul, I would recommend this day tour out to Suwon. It was a small and private tour of 4 people in my group - us (daughter and mom) and 2 other female tourists. My tour guide Alice was really knowledgeable and funny. She shared many history background and stories of the places we visited. There was never a boring moment and she even helped us take many photos too. Thanks Alice, for being a great tour guide and Mr Kim for driving us safely around Suwon. It was indeed a nice relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. Gamsahabnida!

If you’re in Seoul, I highly recommend this tour. It was a small and very private tour of up to 6-7 people. Luckily, when I went with my girlfriend, it was just the two of us. My tour guide, Lily, was so awesome! Super knowledgeable and really knows her history with all the places we visited. Lily, if you’re reading this, thank you for being an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide!

My mum and I went on this tour with tour guide Juno. He was fantastic in explaining a lot of history and stories throughout our tour and answered our many questions. My mum and I weren’t too familiar with a lot of the history and so we came away having learnt a lot which added so much to our experience. We were given ample time at each attraction to explore and take many photos. Thank you so much Juno and our driver.

We had our day in Suwon on a cloudy Saturday in April. They had clear instructions on meeting time and place and the driver is very polite. This is a lovely place with the UNESCO site which is the Suwon ancient fortress. This is a fortress that spreads out a big area of the city so I think exploring by car/joining a local tour is the best way. Our guide Juno is very attentive and caring and he always found the optimal moment to enter the palace/hall so as to avoid the crowd. We have ample time to have lunch in the mall and take photos in the Starfield library. Some of our buddies even managed to queue up to try the famous London Bagel Museum in the mall. The last stop was a cave which was built around 100 years ago and was now decorated with colourful lights. We enjoyed a vibrant light show there. Overall I highly recommend this trip!
