Passeio pela Fortaleza Hwaseong de Suwon/Palácio Haengung/Biblioteca Starfield

It's a must-do tour; they show you the wall and Suwon Palace, and tell you many detailed parts of its history. Philip is a very good guide and will also make sure everyone understands the explanation, has fun, and can take home souvenir photos. We had the opportunity to do the archery activity because we were well on time; it's 3000 won, very cheap and fun. Also, during the visit, he took us in time for the Suwon Palace exhibition, and for lunch, he took us to the exact spot to take a photo of the Starfield Library. Finally, the temple at the end is beautiful and peaceful. Prepare good shoes because you'll need them for walking. I loved it; it's a 10/10 experience.

I had a very enjoyable and memorable trip to Suwon. Visiting Hwaseong Fortress became much more meaningful because our guide, Peter, explained the history behind the fortress very clearly, so when we visited each place, I could understand and relate to the story better. Peter speaks very good English and Chinese, which made the tour very comfortable and easy to follow. He was also very kind and attentive throughout the trip. Thank you, Peter, for making this Suwon trip such an enjoyable and meaningful experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to visit Suwon and learn more about its history.

Guiden vår, Peter, var utrolig oppmerksom – han sørget hele tiden for at alle var med og at ingen gikk glipp av de beste fotostedene. Suwon is a must see! Our tour guide Simon was a sincere guide who really explained a lot about the history of the places we visited and gave good advice on enjoying the attractions. One of the best tours in Korea in my opinion, especially as a fan of Korean historical drama like Dong Yi. The starfield library was a work of art to behold! The tour was right on time for the Joseon martial art performance too! All the attractions were well paced and worth every penny to visit!

I loved seeing the Hwaseong Fortress. It was so much easier for me to picture Seoul in the Joseon era after seeing the site. There is a lot of walking and it’s hilly but it’s beautiful. I thought the palaces in Seoul were more interesting but enjoyed seeing the destination of a famous historical event, the queen’s birthday party. Midday we stopped for lunch at the mall where the Starfield Library is located. It’s a pretty place and quite popular for selfies. I also visited a folk village which I was happy to see. The houses are authentic although recreated onsite for historical interest. Through all of this our guide, Peter, was interesting, informative and fun.

I had an amazing time on this heritage tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul! A real fun tour with a lot of history, highlighting the important parts/moments of each stop. Our tourguide, Peter Pan, knew how to keep our attention by telling stories with some jokes. We started at the Fortress, then went to watch the martial arts performance. Because it was a Sunday, the Starfield mall and Library were very busy. The caves were amazing to walk through. Would recommend!

Our guide Simon was the best! He made sure all tourists were accommodated and even used translations for all English, Korean, and Chinese speakers. He made the tour super fun and memorable! The driver was also very good and made sure that the ride was smooth and safe. The tour was nicely spaced and the time for each attraction was ample. 5/5 ⭐️
