The Hyatt Regency Shenzhen Yantian is perfect for a weekend getaway. Although it's not in the city center, there's a shopping mall and a waterfront promenade downstairs, making it very convenient to walk to the beach and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering mountain and sea views. Waking up in the morning and drawing the curtains gives a wonderful holiday feeling. The staff are polite and proactive, whether at the front desk or in housekeeping, they are very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a swimming pool and gym, and a good variety of breakfast options. Overall, it offers great value for money, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay.

After crossing the border at 蓮塘口岸, it takes around 30 to 40 minutes by taxi to get to the hotel. There isn't much nearby in terms of food options, so you can either eat at the hotel or order takeaway. The hotel itself had plenty of facilities to entertain children, including a small indoor playroom, another indoor area with a pebble sandpit, an outdoor heated pool, and outdoor park. I went with three children for two days and they had a lot of fun. The amenities in the room were basic and there was no children's potty or stepping stool. Children's toothbrush was provided though. All in all, it was cost effective and I would return.

The hotel room offers an open view, and the facilities and amenities are of a high standard. The M show in the evening is absolutely spectacular and not to be missed.

It was a wonderful experience. However, I could only upload a very limited number of photos because my husband doesn't want us to appear on the internet. Let me elaborate on the experience:
The hotel is very large and beautiful, and the sea view from the room is stunning. The children were incredibly excited and said they never wanted to leave. The service was excellent.
There are many activities suitable for children. Besides the beach and indoor/outdoor pools, there are also hot spring baths. The children were overjoyed.
The travel photography was also very professional. The photos look like the Maldives.
The food, especially the buffet dinner, was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed it for two hours.
We also received a New Year fruit platter from the hotel, which was a thoughtful and considerate gesture.
My husband thought the only drawback was the lack of a shopping mall nearby. For meals not included, we could only eat McDonald's or steamed buns and rice noodle rolls.
My personal opinion is that it's a shame they don't offer simple small swimming rings for rent for children, even though there are many places nearby to buy them. For tourists, this is quite environmentally unfriendly. And renting a large swimming ring is only available outdoors and costs fifty yuan, which seems unnecessary.
Also, it would have been even better if they could provide sunscreen. We didn't expect the beach to be so hot in winter. We wanted to walk around more, but without sunscreen, we didn't go, which was a bit of a pity.
Furthermore, the hotel is quite far from the city center, and with fewer delivery personnel during the New Year, even takeaways or online purchases took over half an hour to be delivered.
However, these minor flaws don't overshadow the overall experience. Our family felt this was a wonderful experience, despite being a bit expensive. We hope to come again, preferably with a more cost-effective package.

This one-night stay, including a double buffet dinner and breakfast, was excellent value. There weren't many guests at dinner, and while there was less food than last time, they still had steamed seafood and seared thinly sliced beef, which tasted good, and the hot pot was still available. The weather was good and warm this time, so we used the heated swimming pool. Breakfast was very busy with many guests, and there was a wide variety of food. The staff were attentive and polite, truly reflecting an international brand hotel.

This hotel stay was a great experience. It's very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Exit C after taking the subway about a dozen stops from Luohu Port. I imagined the hotel would be old, but it's been renovated, and the room and bathroom are incredibly spacious, clean, and hygienic. The hotel arranged for us to have a balcony room with a nice view of the beach. The dinner buffet was average, but the hotpot was good. The breakfast in the morning was decent with plenty of food options. There are many small shops around the hotel for dining. It's also very convenient to get to Outlet 8, which is just a few minutes' walk away. Plus, late-night snacks are easily accessible... I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

The family suite is excellent, and the 180-degree sea view balcony is perfect for photos. The hotel service is very good, and the staff at the kids' club are all very nice, especially Sunny, whom my baby also loves. The complimentary photoshoot from Anman Travel Photography, included with the suite, also produced great pictures, and the photography service was excellent; they even rescheduled for us when we missed our original appointment on the first day.
