Coisas para fazer em Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau

I visited Sant Pau Hospital on May 1, 2026. I hesitated about going in, but since I was there, I made a same-day reservation and visited, which turned out to be an excellent decision. The exterior is beautifully and impressively adorned with colorful decorations, but the interior is also much larger than I imagined, and the ability to explore at a leisurely pace is a major draw. It's hard to believe it's a hospital, as the design is meticulously detailed, creating a space that feels more like an art museum. There were relatively few people, allowing for a calm viewing experience, and with many highlights, my satisfaction was high. Furthermore, there are many photo spots where you can see the Sagrada Familia, making photography enjoyable. It's a highly recommended tourist destination where you can enjoy both architecture and scenery.

Great architecture. i had fun having shots at the rooftop- it was just so hot though. Doing the tour with the audio guide is also better as you learn lots from the story behind it.

I found the explanation quite clear, and after it, you're free to stay and admire the church. What sets the Sagrada Familia apart from other churches is its bright, joyful, and natural atmosphere. The exterior of the Sagrada Familia also tells many stories.

It was an amazing experience seeing Sagrada Familia up close! Our guide Tony gave us so many more details that we would have definitely missed if we were on our own. Highly recommend booking this experience.

The Spain trip was planned for fifteen days. Since it was close to the first hotel, we arranged to visit the outlet village in the first few days! On weekdays, the bus frequency in the afternoon is longer. After lunch, we waited a bit and a bus arrived, but unfortunately, I mistook the bus company and waited at the wrong platform... so we went to explore nearby and waited another two hours for the next bus. Thankfully, everything else was very satisfactory. On this trip, I managed to buy the Spanish leather shoe brand Camper, which I had been looking forward to, and it happened to be during an additional discount promotion at the outlet village, which made me very happy! Both the outbound and return journeys were very satisfactory. What I disliked most was encountering station restrooms under renovation, with only temporary facilities (and only two women's stalls, very different from Asian configurations). Other than that, everything was great. The driver even waited until everyone had disembarked before opening the luggage compartment, to prevent people who got off earlier from taking the wrong luggage.

The mosaic workshop was the perfect complement to the entire trip and made us appreciate even more the work put into every mosaic in Barcelona :D The instructors were very kind and happy to help. The location is an ideal distance (a 5-minute walk) from Ciutadella Park.
