El Palau de la Música Catalana de Barcelona és una obra mestra absoluta de l'arquitectura modernista catalana. Dissenyat per Lluís Domènech i Montaner, aquest Patrimoni de la Humanitat de la UNESCO et deixa sense alè des del moment en què hi entres. La magnífica claraboia de vitralls de la sala de concerts principal il·lumina l'estança amb una llum solar càlida i acolorida, creant un ambient veritablement màgic. Assistir a una actuació de guitarra en directe aquí és una experiència inoblidable: l'acústica és de primera qualitat i cada detall, des de les escultures fins als vibrants mosaics, millora l'atmosfera. Tant si fas una visita guiada per admirar els detalls exquisits com si assisteixes a un concert, és una destinació de visita obligada tant per als amants de l'art com de la música.

Stepping into this magnificent musical palace, the first feeling isn't shock, but awe. Looking up, there are intricate carvings and painted domes; before your eyes, layers of organ pipes are stacked, as if the entire wall is waiting to breathe. The four rows of keyboards stand silently, yet seem ready to awaken the soul of the entire space at any moment. Light streams in from the stained-glass windows, with gold and red intertwining to create a warm and solemn atmosphere, making one unconsciously slow their pace. Standing before the stage, I suddenly understood that music is never just sound, but a fusion of architecture and art. Every pipe, every archway, every mosaic is setting the stage for sound. When the melody begins, it's not just the air that vibrates, but the entire space and the human heart. Here, I felt that humanity's pursuit of beauty can be so extreme and pure.

Our reservation is for the 10 AM session, and we recommend arriving 15 minutes early. The meeting point is located past the lobby and the seating area of the central bar. If you can't find it, you can ask a staff member. Show your ticket, and they will tell you where to meet. I really enjoyed the tour process. In addition to an introductory video, stories about the venue, and explanations of the architectural design, there was also live organ music to enjoy. Although the appreciation time was short, it's a great alternative for those who don't have time to arrange a music program. I personally highly recommend it. After the tour, you can also freely visit the facilities, which I think is fantastic! 😁

I arrived in about 30 minutes on foot from a hotel near the Sagrada Familia. I arrived 15 minutes before my reservation, but I was able to enter smoothly. I never tired of looking at the stained glass, decorations, and chandeliers. First, I sat on the first floor and looked up at the ceiling, admiring the stained glass and the paintings on the stage. However, there was a certain point beyond which I could not go. Afterwards, I went to the third floor, where I sat comfortably and relaxed, taking in the overall view and looking at the stained glass ceiling up close. My stay, including a break, was about 45 minutes. On the way back, I stopped at La Boqueria Market, which was about a 10-minute walk away, to enjoy some street food before heading home.

Absolutamente deslumbrante e totalmente vale a pena visitar! A arquitetura é incrivelmente bonita. Reservei meus ingressos pelo Klook, o que foi super rápido e conveniente – eles apenas enviam um código QR para facilitar a entrada. Recomendo vivamente fazer a visita guiada porque lhe dá acesso à área do palco. No entanto, mesmo que só tenha tempo para uma olhada rápida, comprar um ingresso normal para ver o interior deslumbrante ainda vale totalmente a pena.

For the beautiful Sant Pau Hospital, you can enter directly by scanning the QR code at any time, which is very convenient. If you want to avoid crowds and take photos freely at the Palau de la Música Catalana, you might consider entering right at 9 AM.

Breathtakingly beautiful! From the arches and columns to the windows and floor tiles, from outside the doors to inside, from the main concert hall to the balconies, there isn't a single spot that isn't stunning!
