The next day, I participated in the electric scooter tour. It was really fun, and it was the same guide again, which made me a little happy because his service was excellent. People with ankle problems should still be careful because the rocks vary in size, but it was quite enjoyable. One of the group members, perhaps due to her larger size, was very slow climbing the rocks, which caused delays. Since I had a set time to leave the area, the local supplier promptly made arrangements for a car to pick me up, and I quickly left the site. Fortunately, I caught the car. Many thanks to the local supplier. I especially recommend the guide's handsome photos. 👍👍👍

I had a reservation for a specific time slot, so I presented my mobile voucher at the counter to check in. During the shuttle transfer, a short video was played, giving a welcoming feeling and an exciting sense that a fantasy world was about to unfold! The guide led everyone on a tour of the park. It's crucial to keep up and not wander off or linger, as you need to seize the time to enjoy the scenery or take photos; once you miss something, there's no going back. The guide spoke entirely in English, but it didn't matter if I didn't understand all the explanations; I still had a great time! The guide even helped with photos! The last stop was a restaurant and bar, where everyone could choose one free drink. I opted for the only non-alcoholic option, ginger ale, which was a large, delicious, and filling drink! I really wanted to sit by the warm fireplace for an hour or two, but unfortunately, we only had a few brief minutes (maybe half an hour, or even less, I've forgotten a bit). Besides the free drink, there was also self-serve coffee available. Upon leaving the park, everyone received a souvenir-shaped cup. P.S.: Before entering the park, the guide asked if anyone didn't know why they were there. I really wanted to raise my hand because I hadn't even seen the related movies or books. When planning the itinerary, I even considered skipping this man-made attraction to save some travel expenses, but I'm so glad I came! The natural scenery is beautiful, and the architecture, decorations, and various objects are all exquisitely crafted, as if they were naturally formed! Of course, they are also meticulously maintained! It's definitely worth a visit!

El programa de observación de estrellas fue muy divertido e interesante. El guía fue amable y animado. Tomamos el autobús a un lugar de observación de estrellas, y cuando miramos hacia arriba, el cielo estaba lleno de estrellas. Fue muy hermoso.

Worth the journey to have a look at the glow worms in pitch black darkness. The boat ride is about 45 mins each way. The walk into the cave wasn't that far as highlighted. The guides were excellent and friendly, providing entertaining explanations on the cave and the glow worms.

The two-hour cruise in Milford Sound really depends on luck. Before setting off, I was actually a bit apprehensive, as this area is famous for its rain, with over 200 rainy days a year. Encountering clear weather is certainly not a given. As the boat slowly pulled away from the dock, seeing the sun pierce through the clouds, and the blue sky and mountains appear simultaneously, I couldn't help but silently say to myself: "Thank you, heavens, for this blessing." The entire journey lasted about two hours, but every minute felt like watching a live nature documentary. The deep blue and emerald green waters shimmered in the sunlight; towering cliffs on both sides plunged directly into the sea, with layers of mountains stretching into the distance. As the boat slowly approached the waterfalls, the mist dispersed in the sunlight, as if scattering a fine glow. That kind of awe was not just about grandeur, but a feeling of smallness and reverence at being surrounded by nature. The most iconic peaks appeared exceptionally three-dimensional against the blue sky, with clouds flowing around the mountainsides, creating a scene so beautiful it felt almost unreal. The New Zealand flag fluttered at the stern, and the waves on the sea contrasted with the distant mountain scenery. In that moment, one truly quiets down to fully appreciate the power of this land. Many say that Milford Sound has more and more spectacular waterfalls on rainy days; however, being able to see such a clear view and distinct mountain lines in good weather is equally rare. This trip made me deeply realize that visiting Milford Sound truly requires a bit of luck. And when good weather appears, that feeling of感動 is magnified infinitely. The two-hour journey ended quickly, but that blue sky, that waterfall, that mountain peak will remain in my memory for a long time. Thanks to the weather for giving us a perfect window, making this fjord trip the purest and most stunning scene of the entire journey.

Amazing tour. Ian was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the whole drive to the ferry. A must do if you're travelling to Milford Sound. Upon arriving at the stargazing spot, the staff had each member lie down on a lounge chair and provided a thick blanket (the temperature was only a few degrees, it was very cold). The first part involved viewing with the naked eye. The staff used an astronomical laser pointer to indicate points in the sky while explaining astronomical knowledge. After viewing with the naked eye, we used astronomical telescopes 🔭 for stargazing. There were two telescopes, and most of the pictures were taken with the smaller one (small, but very powerful). We saw Jupiter's stripes, the Milky Way, a gentle close-up of the moon, and the twinkling stars around the Southern Cross, among other things. It was truly moving to the point of tears. Seeing it live was countless times more beautiful than in photos, because you feel like they are alive, they are moving, they are blooming ⭐ During the process, the staff also provided everyone with a cup of hot chocolate and took souvenir photos for each team member. Finally, we gathered around a fire pit to roast marshmallows 🍡, ending my stargazing trip feeling completely satisfied. 🤗

I wasn't a big fan of LOTR, but I honestly learned a lot from this tour. Riding in a 4WD vehicle added to the fun as well! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The banana bread (and other food) provided was delicious. It was a nice touch when the driver offered us what he brought for us. 🙂
