Wonderful walking tour with our guide, Tea. He's very engaging and set a comfortable pace for the tour. Other than the beautiful sights of the Bamboo Forest and Temples, a wholesome traditional vegan lunch was also arranged.

It’s truly an eye-opening experience to be here at the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest—especially when shared with your loved ones. Unfortunately, the boat was cancelled due to the rain.

Ben was our tour guide, friendly, kind, and a very thoughtful guide. He shared many tips and a lot of history about the location with us. The trip included a train ride, where you could see the river and beautiful scenery. Then, there was a 2-hour boat rafting experience, enjoying various levels of water rides; please note that you might get wet. Lastly, there were 2 hours for self-exploration of bamboo groves, shrines, shop lots, etc.

It was a wonderful day... Even though I went alone, I didn’t feel lonely—everyone worked together as a great team, and the guide was helpful with everything, from tourist attractions and food to taking photos. The places were absolutely beautiful!! I’ll definitely go again with friends, my partner, and family next time.

It was such an honor and a great experience. Definitely worth the money. We had fun as Ai was such an excellent guide. She provided nuances between Maiko and Geiko, correcting the preconceived notions given by the movie, Memoirs of a Geisha, and being an excellent interpreter. Umemai-san, the maiko that performed for us, was very amazing. For someone so young to be able to perform for us with great confidence and answer all of our questions, she was just superb. Great job for GuideMe Japan Team for arranging this tour!

I highly recommend this tour! Tea was our tour guide, he was very friendly and informative about all the places we visited. He took us to very beautiful locations. The lunch was a great experience.

Excellent service from guide Joe as he provided us detailed explanation and a complete guide of today’s itinerary. We had enjoyed ourselves as there’s a last min request to him and EasyGo team had managed to accommodate and thanks to the Hozugawa boat ride team who acceded to our request and ensured we are able to enjoy our day trip together with family and friends. We had a wonderful tour to Arashiyama Fushimi Inari and Nara! Our guide, Sarah, was incredibly sweet and kind to all of us. It was a truly memorable day and we absolutely loved every moment of it. Highly recommended!
