A beautiful trip, Biei Shikisai-no-Oka is like God's palette dropped onto the earth, with vibrant colors spread across the landscape. Coupled with the perfect weather, it was truly refreshing and delightful.

Our tour guide, Michelle, is from Hong Kong and speaks authentic Cantonese. Her service is professional and her attitude is friendly – excellent, excellent, excellent! Even with only three participants, the tour still proceeded, feeling like a private guided experience – excellent, excellent, excellent! With fewer people, there's no waiting, we visited many attractions, and the playtime was quite sufficient. Of course, if I went by myself, I could stay longer, but walking on snowy ground in winter is inconvenient. If there's a blizzard, having point-to-point car transfers would be even better. I will definitely join again next time I visit.

Thank you, Ms. Zhou Lijia, for guiding our group. You were very responsible with your bilingual explanations throughout the long journey, which must have been quite tiring. In Jigokudani (Hell Valley), you can see spectacular volcanic scenery. Taipei's Yangmingshan also has similar landscapes, but here, with the white snow, it feels quite unique. Lake Toya is beautiful, but the time spent there seemed a bit short. It would be even better if there were some walking trails added (like in Jigokudani).

Although the time was a bit tight, the tour guide's arrangements were very appropriate, making for a very pleasant travel experience.

The private vehicle was clean and comfortable. Our driver spoke little English but was able to tell us how long we could stay at each location. He was also very nice to allow us to stay longer in some areas upon our request. Asahiyama Zoo was nice, with lots of well-groomed and healthy animals to see. The famous penguins were really fun to see, but there were way too many people. The Shirogane waterfall and Biei River were also nice to see; I just didn’t expect that you would see them from a bridge. The Ningle Forest was very nice and a huge property. There were lots of people at the huts (which are actually stores) taking pictures. I’m sure it’s nicer in the evening. We didn’t have enough time to go around as we had to go back to Sapporo. All in all, we enjoyed this tour 😊

Upon arrival, head straight from the airport with your luggage to start your journey without wasting the first day's itinerary. Especially in winter Hokkaido, where transportation can be unpredictable, we recommend signing up for a tour.

Andy was charming and gave us tips on what to buy and what not to buy. We were lucky to have good weather during the tour. It was a challenge to finish the Cape Kamui walk, but the views were breathtaking and rewarding. The Shakotan tunnel was also interesting, with a soft-serve ice cream and souvenir shop. We had lunch in Otaru, where Andy showed us a very good seafood restaurant. It was fun just walking around afterward. Shiroi Koibito was also fascinating, where you can take many Instagram-worthy photos. It's already near Sapporo, which was great to know that we arrived early at the endpoint.
