Fenqihu Old Street

O passeio a Alishan com partida da estação de HSR de Taichung foi excelente. Após pegar o trem de alta velocidade, fomos recebidos no ponto de encontro por um motorista que também atuava como guia, e houve algumas paradas para ir ao banheiro ou fazer refeições ao longo do percurso. Recomendamos muito o nosso guia e motorista, Xiao Xin. As estradas nas montanhas de Alishan são realmente cheias de curvas, por isso queríamos vir há muito tempo, mas não tínhamos coragem de dirigir. No entanto, a técnica de direção dele é ótima; viajei na última fileira da van de nove lugares o caminho todo e não senti nenhum enjoo. O melhor de tudo é poder dormir no carro e acordar já em Alishan, o que é muito confortável. A paisagem de Alishan é deslumbrante, um destino que todo mundo precisa visitar na vida! O guia deu explicações muito detalhadas em Alishan, compartilhou várias histórias interessantes e nos levou por uma trilha de descida mais leve, evitando que o esforço fosse excessivo. Ele também nos ajudou a tirar várias fotos bonitas, que transformou em vídeo e nos enviou para guardar como lembrança. Ele foi realmente muito atencioso (as fotos compartilhadas aqui são as que tirei por conta própria, pois as fotos individuais tiradas pelo guia são pessoais, mas algumas usam as técnicas de fotografia que ele nos ensinou). No caminho de volta, talvez para evitar que ficássemos entediados, o guia preparou algumas piadas, o que deixou o ambiente bem divertido 😆. O planejamento do roteiro foi tranquilo, o guia foi bem-humorado, o transporte foi conveniente e o custo-benefício foi altíssimo. Recomendamos muito que todos venham fazer este passeio de um dia!

We had Stella as our driver and guide. she picked 5 of us up from Kaohsiung. she was very patient and sweet and we were traveling with one person whi is legally blind. I love that we got to see Alishan without the hassle of waiting for buses and trains. She took us on beautiful hikes to see the tea fields. we had the original bento lunch box at the old street. Overall a fun filled day for all of us!

we had a nice trip with stay at Alishan Gou hotel. fetch from our hotel to Alishan train station. train uphill is a 3 hours ride. toilet on the train is rather rocky, is a fun experience though. the hotel is good just that hot water service for bathing is from 5pm to 11 pm only. hot and cold water dispenser available at hotel lobby. this hotel is good cos just outside the hotel is the giant trees trial. our lady tour guide at giant tree trial is v caring, knowledgeable and intro us to a lot of plants. shuttle service to hotel is every half an hour. morning sunrise need to take another train to 祝山。train station is just outside hotel convenience. downhill to 奋起湖 by minivan. bento is ok, but must try the mini donut there. Our tour guide downhill very considerate, caring and good driver. Hinoki village has some great photos. thank you to all our 3 tour guides driver to the station, at giant forest trail and downhill. would recommend this half free and easy trip to everyone visiting Alishan

The Alishan trip was absolutely fantastic! 🌟👏 The "sacred trees" of Alishan are a breathtaking sight, having stood for thousands of years. These towering "sacred trees" stand silently in the primeval forest; some of these giant red cypresses are over 2,000 years old, earning them the title of "living history textbooks." Being there felt like stepping into another world, like a fairyland. We are so grateful to our tour guide, Kai-ge. He was kind and patient, possessing a wealth of professional knowledge about Alishan's culture, history, flora, and fauna. Along the way, he introduced us to attractions, told historical stories, and helped everyone take photos, adding so much joy to the entire trip. Although it rained heavily and was very foggy, Kai-ge drove very steadily, making us feel safe and secure. He looked after everyone like a big brother from next door, and he worked incredibly hard. Thank you, Kai-ge; it's rare to meet such a dedicated and professional tour guide. Our Taiwan trip ended perfectly, and everything was worth it! 👍👍👍

​We had a great time exploring Chiayi, Alishan, and Sun Moon Lake, thanks to our guide, Mrs. Joanna Lin. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable,warm, and patient with us at every stop. ​The only issue was the transportation. A Toyota Wish for four passengers felt too tight and uncomfortable for the long travel hours involved in this itinerary. Upgrading to a slightly larger vehicle would make this trip perfect. Thank you to Joanna for being such a wonderful guide!

Our tour guide, Max, was really awesome! He made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip and was always happy to help. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience more enjoyable. We really appreciated how well he took care of everyone and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend Max if you’re looking for a fun and comfortable tour experience!

Breakfast: A $100 voucher that can be used at the 7-Eleven next door *at any time*. Great for buying instant noodles in the evening! :) Hotel Location: Very convenient, especially for travelers without a car. Service: The front desk staff was very thoughtful. Tour Guide: If you enjoy light hiking and nature, I highly recommend joining this tour. You can really feel her love for the area.

This is the most hospitable place I have ever stayed. Transportation is convenient, just an 8-minute walk to the bus stop. Since it was my first time visiting Alishan, the receptionist kindly gave me a detailed guide on how to get around when I checked in. The room is simple with a cozy, homemade breakfast. You can walk to the sunrise viewing spot in just 5 minutes, and the lovely owner even gave us a personal introduction. Staying just one night is definitely not enough!

The black and white architecture has a great texture, and the rooms are new and super clean. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable. There's an on-site restaurant, so you don't have to worry about not having dinner when you're up in the mountains. The hot pot broth is delicious and won't leave you thirsty. During firefly season, the owner's daughter even takes guests on a trail walk to see fireflies. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful!
