It turns out this is a non-profit museum. It's very beautiful, with a charming old-world foreign feel. Learning about mining methods was very enriching.

The mine tour is also fun! I recommend checking the pamphlet carefully and visiting at the right time. The meat pie and apple crumble are delicious.

El precio fue muy económico en comparación con la compra directa. Solo gasté $35 usando el pase de Klook, lo cual es una gran oferta. El proceso de entrada fue fluido y fácil; es la misma entrada que para la compra de boletos generales, así que no hay ninguna diferencia. Solo muestra la reserva y podrás entrar sin ningún problema.
Compré el tour por la mina y fue una experiencia realmente buena. El tour subterráneo por la mina fue interesante y bien organizado. Hizo que la visita fuera mucho más emocionante y educativa.

Use immediately upon purchase. Be aware of the show times for performances. We also recommend paying extra to join the mine tour after entering. The place is quite large, with many old-style buildings. You can spend three to four hours walking around, taking photos, and watching demonstrations. If you have extra time in Melbourne, it's worth a visit.

Sovereign Hill is very interesting with many places to visit. You can step back in time and have a glimpse of life in the 1850s in Ballarat.

I love the atmosphere there! The Mine Tour is also very interesting, but the group size in a session might be a little too big (obstructed view) to see things when the guide is talking about them. Gold panning was a great new experience for me, although it was quite energy-consuming but fun! There are also some performances happening in the center! I might have missed a lot of it, but I saw the explosives one and it was so funny and entertaining lol. Highly recommended for a completely different environmental feel!

A very worthwhile place to visit, it feels like going back to Australia's gold rush era. The mine tour is especially worth adding on.
