Passeios por Penguin Parade

A wonderful 12-hour tour. The driver-guide Michael knows his job well and talked us through the history of Melbourne and loads of other information. He's also sociable and kept everyone entertained throughout. Got to see lots of precious animals on the tour.

Today was the long-awaited Puffing Billy and Penguin Parade day tour!!! We met at Spencer Street at 9:30 AM, and our first stop was the Brighton Bathing Boxes! We took so many beautiful photos! It truly lived up to its reputation! We finally checked it off our list! Afterwards, we set off for Puffing Billy! An hour's drive, a unique experience! In between, we opted for a self-funded visit to a farm called Maru, where we got up close with kangaroos, which was so much fun! (We stayed for 1.5 hours) Then we headed off to see the penguins! We waited for an hour, securing a good spot for a close-up view. The penguins were so cute and tiny! A foreigner next to us described the entire parade as "fascinating," and I think that's very apt! Definitely worth the price of admission (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ Finally, a big thank you to our guide and driver, Uncle Steven, for giving us such a wonderful experience! Thank you!

Don't waste time looking at other travel agencies' itineraries; I've already checked them all for you. At the same price point, other agencies' worst reviews mentioned cars breaking down, guides who were also drivers offering no commentary, or even last-minute no-shows. We were so lucky! Our guide today, Shin, had none of these issues. Instead, he gave us the most direct advice, provided appropriate introductions to attractions, drove smoothly and quickly, and even stopped for us to take photos when we saw kangaroos ❤️. In all my working life, I've never wanted to tip someone so much... He also took us to an award-winning Australian winery for a tasting, and it only cost 15 AUD – truly excellent service! On the same day, he conveniently dropped us off directly at our respective hotels. I couldn't be more grateful, not to mention the free iced drinks readily available throughout the trip... I hope my next Great Ocean Road day trip is even better than this travel agency's 👍 We all appreciate your great tour guidance, Shin👍👍. We had a good experience. I only regretted buying the 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' because we didn't need it. Even without it, we would definitely have been happy and satisfied — the trip itself, from the itinerary to the people on the ground, was all fun.

This trip was well worth the money. We had an amazing guide named Jess that was very knowledgeable and kept an upbeat energy for the entire day. We were given a good amount of time to explore each stop and opportunities to see wildlife. Highly recommend this tour!

Elliot was a great guide and explained each part of the trip with care and detail. We managed to get on time to all of our destinations and have efficient time to see the spots. This trip is great for sightseeing and snapping photos. The penguin parade was spectacular and well presented. We went on a cold afternoon, so we advise to go well covered and perhaps grab a hot drink before seating to watch the penguins (no food, as the seagulls will come bother you quite often and may attack)

Overall, it was a good experience! Our driver/guide, Perry, was excellent, sharing interesting facts about Melbourne and Phillip Island. He managed the group well too. It was quite a small group of 15, some of whom were doing the cruise and the rest were doing other itineraries. The Seal Rock cruise was really interesting, though we'd recommend taking travel sickness medication beforehand!

This was a tremendous experience! Our guide Ben is super nice and knowledgeable. He provided us with interesting information about Melbourne and the animals (especially the Little Penguins). He also managed the time very well so that we could have sufficient time to enjoy the views and watch animals, and also to have dinner, etc. I will highly recommend this tour and thank you, Ben, for providing a wonderful experience!
