The ride on the Puffing Billy steam train was truly impressive! Sitting on the open carriage window sills, dangling our legs outside, and feeling the breeze while passing through lush green forests was such an exciting experience! The penguin parade was incredible! I was grateful to see around 60 penguins—on average, about 700 penguins come out to the island each day. Australian penguins are the little penguin and irresistibly cute! I was also delighted to see baby Cape Barren Geese; they are utterly adorable! Our tour guide is knowledgeable and cares for our basic needs such as going to the bathroom and having our meals during the day. I highly recommend wearing enough clothing because Philip Island is very windy.

Going to Melbourne for a babymoon and we had a really magical experience with Loki our tour guide. He explained everything clearly, guide us through every places. The highlight of our trip was philip island penguin parade, it was one of the memorable experience to see the tinniest penguin coming back to their nest in real life. Would repeat it again with my baby girl in the near future for sure!

Thanks to our tour guide and driver, Stuart. He is really kind and helpful. He always reminds us of everything, even which toilet is cleaner. We have enough time to take photos and walk around each place. It is my first time to visit Australia with family. We are happy to have him as our guide. However, I have something to remind you all. It is highly recommended to have a great breakfast before you get on the tour bus. Your next meal would probably be around 5:30 PM.

We had a great time with this pretty chill itinerary. We managed to get an hour's ride on the Puffing Billy steam train and head straight down to Phillip Island to watch the Penguin Parade. We had plenty of time for lunch and dinner, and the best part was there was no rush. The tour was a little bit pricey, but overall, Mark, our driver and guide, was amazing. We also saw so many wild animals such as geese, wallabies, penguins, and different types of birds along the way.

Had an amazing day at Phillip Island and Puffing Billy. Our guide is very knowledgeable and helpful (forgot his name 🫠). He recommended Nat’s place where we ate the best fish and chips we ever had. Didn’t expect the penguins to be very tiny lol they are so cute!

This trip was so good! Lily was our guide, and she was patient and managed the transition times very well. She told us the exact time to return to the bus so that we could all follow. And on the way to Phillip Island, she reminded us to look out for wildlife, such as wallabies and local geese. Loved this trip!

Matt - Our tour guide is humorous, informative and professional in a package! Everything is smooth through out the day starting from the picking up, getting the tickets and dropping us off after the end of a long day (and long drive for Matt). Highly recommending this tour!

Absolutely wonderful experience. I was reluctant to go on this tour at first, as the cost was a little higher than others. But it was worth every cent when seeing the cute little penguins climbing up the shores and seeing them up close. The driver was nice too, as he allowed us to pick up dinner by the road and eat it on the go. Tour with Explore Australia.

The Puffing Billy train was so fun and interesting! We watched the penguins going back home and it was so cute! Ms Margaret was so enthusiastic about her job and explained and showed everything along the way! It was truly an amazing trip!
